That Thursday morning, Caleb drove over to Rohana’s house and picked her up for the psych evaluation. He took her to the phycologist the precinct often worked with, Doctor Kagiso Ledwaba. Everyone that knew him just called him Doctor Waba.
“I’m nervous,” Rohana confessed before they walked into the doctors building. The court had ruled that it was mandatory she goes for the evaluation, but luckily, she was willing to agree.
“It’s okay, you haven’t done something like this before. It’s normal to feel nervous but don’t be scared. Doctor Waba is the best in Pretoria. He’ll take good care of you and is extremely kind.” Caleb replied to reassure her. He opened the door and let Rohana talk in. Doctor Waba stood waiting for them and offered Rohana a smile.
