Riley. I knocked on his hotel door, but there was no answer. Looking at Mike, he stepped forward to swipe the card. “He’s struggling at the moment,” he said. “What does he mean by struggling?” I wondered out loud. As I glanced around, I noticed that this was no ordinary room. There were two sections: one was the living room where we stood, and the other must have been the bedroom and bathroom. Alec had his back to me as he moved a chair. He stood up straight to examine it, then nodded before his gaze shifted down to the floor. “These tiles aren’t placed properly,” he noted.
