Riley. I've been in my bedroom for a while, and it's not until my dad pops his head in to tell me that dinner is ready that I finally decide to come out. As I make my way down the stairs, I can't shake off the disappointment I've been feeling, but I push it aside and try to forget about it. However, when I enter the kitchen and see the table all set, I find seven people sitting in their chairs. My gaze drifts to him for a moment before I catch myself and look toward my mom. “It smells lovely, Mama,” She smiles at me and replies, “Thank you, baby. Do you feel better?” I nod as I hear Alec ask, “Are you ill?” I shake my head as my brother leans over and whispers something to him. My mother has filled him in on the visit, and he is now filling Alec in on that information by the way
