Chapter 32: RELATIONSHIP
I landed on top of Khael, his hands rested at the back of my waist. His breath brushed against my lips then he smiled. "What in the world!" I came back to my senses after hearing someone's voice. My heartbeat fast, I knew who the voice is from, it was Cal's voice. I can't go wrong. I used my hands to push myself up, Khael helped me by giving me a light push on my waist. He stood up after me and we both dusted our clothes. "Hey! What brought you here?" Khael asked Caligo but the latter stayed quiet. I can feel his stare piercing on me but I couldn't look at him. It is embarrassing that he saw what happened. It felt like I've done something wrong even though I didn't. Khael turned his eyes on me when he did not get any response from Cal. "That was one heck of a near-death experience.
