Sam made some adjustments to the plan and told Rick he would be going into the tents with Scott to teleport all the human prisoners they could find back to where Jacob would create a force field to protect them. Jacob would not have to worry about creating too big a force field because the aliens had killed a considerable number of human beings following the threat that Sam and Rick had presented to them. Sam finalised the plan and everyone knew their role and were warming up for it. It was finally time for action and Sam repeated to his brother that he would create a force field and walk with it towards the front gate rather than getting there before creating it as they had earlier talked about. Jacob did not accept the role at first but Jack had mocked him into accepting it.
