graduation day

Emerald pov 

Finally, it's graduation  day.

I had spent night with Katie and Bessie. Peter didnt like it, he wanted keep close since i got released from the hospital. Peter or Ben has at been at my side constantly the last two weeks. Now i needed some girl time because today would the officially the first day of Mine and Peter's eternity. The thought us spending the rest of lives together makes smile. Peter will great a father someday hopefully not just yet. I want to wait for little while but if Goddess  decides to grants us kids we will embrace them with open arms.

"Emerald, come on sleepyhead. It's almost ten already. Come and eat so you wont pass out at party from hunger." Katie yells at me

"I'm coming" I yell back

" Coffee. I need coffee girls" I say

" here's your coffee and your bacon and eggs" Bessie hands them to me

We have only 2 hours left until the graduation starts. I think i'ts more then enough time to get ready.

"So, girls have you thought the thing about changing your names?" I ask them

" i don't think that i wont chance it" Katie says

"I wont either, have you thought about it?" Bessie agrees her

" Yes i have and lot. The name Emerald Payne carries a lifetime of worth bad memories. So i a was thinking that i would change it Mariana Emerald Greenwood." I tell them

" I  have talk it with Peter too and he supports me whatever i want to do" I continue

"Mariana Greenwood? Was  that you mothers maiden name?" Bessie asks?

"Yes it was, since i start new life today, so i should have a new name. And yes you guys can still call me Emerald." I say to them

"Hey girls it's almost eleven time to get ready" Katie says to me and Bessie

My dress is long angle length. It's has flowing bottom with a-line, a halterneck and some fake diamonds in the going down on the sides.  Today i have to put on some heels which match my dress. I put on little bit of make-up, i don't usually use any, but today is a special occasion. Besides Peter is going to take me out in the evening to celebrate together. Our friends wanted to celebrate together but they do understand. Tonight i'm going to be his and he's going to mine. 

I had been asking him that where were going to live? But he just smiles me cryptically. Even Ben wont say thing. Guess they want to surprise me.

As i look myself in the mirror, i remember the morning of before my first shift.  How i looked  in the glass cabinet door. Sadness starts to creep in and feel tears start form in my eyes. I can remember how lonely felt that morning, not that i ever wanted to admit it to myself back then. It hurt so bad.

"Emerald, what's wrong??? Why do  look like that you are about to cry?" Katie asks worriedly

"it's,,,, it's nothing, girls. It feels now stupid" I say

"No, feelings are never stupid. Tell us whats going on your head" Katie says

"it's just that i remembered how lonely i was at the Blackmoon pack. I had granpa sure but he couldnt do much even tho he was an Elder of our pack. I never dared to admit to myself how much it hurt back then.

Now i have Peter, Ben and all of you girls. It feels overwhelming to have so much when you nothing. And sometimes i'm afraid that i'm going wake up from that attic again" I confess to the girls.

Bessie and Katie both hug me And Bessie says "Were are never going to leave. We will follow you to the ends of the world"

Tears start flow from my eyes " Oh , girls thank you, you guys are my best girlfriends"

" Now bestie, a quick face wash and add some makeup. So that Peter wont immediately start worry for you" Katie says smiling

It's time go graduate.

***Noon at the assemly hall'''

"I'm proud say that this years graduates Haden Hill's best stock ever. This year graduates more A-class students like in  previous years. I hope your life's is gotten better here and it continues that." Principal Hawthorne speaks

Peter who is sitting next to me and  squeezes my hand. Both of our lives did change at the first morning, for the better. I smile to Ben who sit other side of me.  He smiles me back. 

I realise that over half of my classmates has collected their  diplomas  and missed the principals speech.

"  The next graduating student is Emerald Payne" Pricipal calls me

I nervously walk toward the stage. As arrive to principals side. He offers his hand saying " Gongratulations Ms Payne. You are gratuateing with the highest honors. Now it's time tell will you leave the school with your old name or a new one. You have decide now, so you can leave tomorrow with a new name" 

I glance at the crowd searching   for Peter eyes, when i find he gives me small nod.

I turn back at the Principal and say " Yes, would like change my name. I wish to be Mariana Emerald Greenwood"

"Good choice young lady. Perfect choice for a soon to be Luna of your pack. He says as he hands me my diploma. When i walk back to seat everyone i know rises from their seats cheering and giving me a clap. I feel like blushing for the love they are giving me. It's surreal for the girl who walk through school doors 2 years ago. 

"Moira, these people they love me." I say

"Ofcourse they do who woulnd love you" she answers

"i can think a few people from past"I remind her

" Yes those people. Let's all forget all of them."  she says

"We can't forget all" i say

"You are right, we remember granpa." She smiles to

When i get back to my seat Peter hugs me says " gongrats love. You did it"

I hug him back "Do you think we could sneak out soon as you get your diploma? There are things that i want to do" I whisper to his ear

"What things do you have in mind?" He whispers back 

" Morris, would you like to mark and mate us, me and Moira?"  I again whisper in his ear

"Woman, with that you made Morris go almost mad. He wants us leave right now" He grins at me

"That was the whole point" I say and wink

Peter pov

"Morris, would you like to mark and mate us, me and Moira" She whispers to my ear

"Peter, Grab our mate and lets get going. I want mark and mate that woman NOW" Morris howls inside me

" Woman, with that you made Morris go almost mad. He wants us leave right now" Tell Her

"That was the whole point" she say s and winks

"Peter, Let's go now. Our mate willing now" Morris says

"No Morris, first dinner and a walk for our mate. Remember i made Ben book us cottage from that cosy place few miles away. So, we could be there in peace before leave home" I answer

"Fine, but you will let me talk our mate as well " Morris says

"ok, ok, ok just cool off just few hours" I thell him

"Peter Lockwood" Principal calls me

" Peter gongratulations. You also graduate with highest honors" Principal says

as i go back to my seat. I take Emeralds hand and say " Come on, Lets go. Give Your diploma  to Ben he'll

 take care of it.

We take one of school cars and start driving. He takes me to the nearby lake. "Come, love. First we go for a walk. I look at shoes and say "love, these are lovely but they are no suitable for beach walk" and  i take her heels off. 

The graduation lasted a long time so as we arrive to beach, the sun  is setting. 

"this looks beautiful and it's perfect" She says to me

She wraps her hands around my neck and her soft and perfect lips are getting close mine. I crash my mouth hers. I kiss her deeply with all my love for her. Today is the day that i can make completely mine.

I feel that Morris wants take over and start the Mating process allready. I start kiss her delicate jawline sprinkling small kisses down to my marking spot. I give it kiss and go back up same way. As i kiss her she moans with pleasure.

"Love, if you keep moaning like that i will take you here right now."

She blushes ever so sweetly " I love you " She says to me

"I love you too" I say back to her

I take her hand and start leading her back to the car " Now we go eat, you must starving, love?" I say

"Yes, a little" She answers¨

"you, a little hungry???? " i say smirking at her

"Okei, Okei i'm starving" she laughs me back

The restaurant is nice. We both order steaks and steamed veggies. As we wait the food and eat we talk about our future together. 

"Peter, we are gonna live?" She asks me

"It's a surprise, you'll see tomorrow" i say cryptically

When we have eaten and start to leave, she asks me "where are going now?"

"Just wait and see. You'll like it" i say smiling

We get on the car and start driving towards the rented cottage.

She sees it from the windshield. " Oh, Peter this perfect" she says and kisses me.

" Come on , love. We've waited long enough of this. It's time." i say quietly

She takes my hand and i lead her inside.
