Doctor Mama

Chapter 2

"Only one hour and I will be out to live my life," thought Victoria. Today was the last day of Victoria's 2-year contract with the most famous dental hospital in Rome. The panel wanted Victoria to renew her contract because she was the best in her field. But according to her, she had earned enough for her trip to Disneyland. Yep, Disneyland Victoria always wanted to go there but could not do so. And now she had cleared all the obstacles of her path and is on her way to her destination. Victoria already told the panel that she will join them after 2 months. Because in the meantime she wants to live her life.

"Hey, Seb what`s up sorry I forgot to tell you about my decision of joining the hospital after 2 months. I know you are mad and I can totally understand it but please don't be mad at me I promise to give you a treat when I return" said Victoria. That's how she is. She has a habit of rambling. And when the person in front of her is Sebastian she knows no boundaries. Sebastian was her first friend at work and later they become best friends.

"Vic" speaks Sebastian in a scared tone.

"Seb what happen you are scaring me now. Is it about not telling you then I swear on favorite ice-cream flavor bubble gum I will never do it again? Look there is only less than an hour in my flight and you know if I board my plane like this then my stomach will get upset". Victoria always had this weird kind of disease. Whenever she gets super anxious she would start having a stomachache, vomiting, and all things that one can name. 

"Vic they are looking for you," said a very scared Sebastian. 

"Who is looking for me?" asked Victoria

"I don't know who. I just received a call that there is an emergency and all staff has to be present there in the next 15 minutes or worse is waiting for us"

"I don't get it. We have doctors to deal with night emergencies present at night then why call everyone? And from where I fit in this?" asked Victoria

"They are men with weapons surrounding the hospital. Then there is a man holding a small boy. He says that he wants the best doctor to deal with his son. Doctor Ivan was chosen to deal with him but Melissa cuts in and says that you are the best in this field. And now he demands your presence and he is very angry as he already ordered for everyone to be present" answered Seb

Of course, Melissa would do so because of two reasons: one because she is very jealous of Victoria and two because this case is very dangerous for the operating doctor and Melissa has a thing for Doctor Ivan.

"But how could he demands my presence. I am no longer an employee of the hospital for crying out loud." cried Vic

"Yes I know but technically you still are as your contract expires at 12 pm as you signed it at 10 am on the day of your joining so basically you are still an employee" explained Seb

This is the final boarding call for passengers. Please proceed to gate 3 immediately. The final checks are being completed and the captain will order for the doors of the aircraft to close in approximately five minutes' time. I repeat. This is the final boarding call for all the passengers. Thank you.

" What should I do now Seb my plane is about to leave" cried Vic.

"Please Vic we need you here," said Seb 

Breathe Vic you can do this. Maybe visiting Disneyland is not in her destiny. Disneyland wait for me I will surely visit you next time.

"OK, Seb now listen closely. Prepare everything by the time I reach there. I will be there in 10 minutes" says Vic and cuts the call.

Let's see who is this new obstacle in my way to Disneyland.
