George pov

Six years later

I’m looking at my beautiful wife with our three children playing in the pool. Our six-year-old twins' daughters play with the ball and their mother. Our two-year-old son is in his inflatable lifebuoy and watching his sisters and his mother playing. He is laughing all the time.

Alexandra, Lauren, and Stephen are our three little sweet kids. Alexandra from Amber’s dad, Alexander, Lauren from her mom, and Stephan from my mother, Stephanie, which proved to us that it has changed a lot. Six years now is the best mother and grandmother we could ask for. She loves all her grandchildren and she spent her time here and in Kolorado with Grace. Our father the last year make moves to build his relationship with us from the beginning. We allow him to see his grandchildren a few times, and Henry and Grace are more cautious.

My sweet Amby, she is so happy now. When we decided to start a family we couldn’t imagine that was so hard. Amby after medical examinations, we were told that a problem she had, didn't allow her to conceive a child. When she heard that she disappeared for a whole month, she asked for a divorce, for me to find a woman that she could give me kids and be a father. I was so devastated, I looked for her everywhere. And then one day her friend Sissy from Kolorado called secretly. Amby was hiding there and she was very miserable. Sissy couldn't see her like that anymore and she decided to call me. I went immediately to Amby. After a week I managed to talk to her. I convinced her how much I love her and I don't care if she can have children of ours. We would adopt and that is what we did. After six months we returned home one day with two beautiful twin girls. And four years later came the second man of the house. And our happiness is indescribable. We loved them like our children and I wouldn't mind soon our family being bigger.

“Daddy come play with us” Lauren yells and I smile

“I’m coming honey,” I say and I walk to the pool. I go in and I kiss my two little girls, then my boy, and I end up with my beautiful wife.

“Dad catch” Alexandra yells and she throws me the ball. We played for hours until Amby called us for dinner. I wiped the girls, Amby when she went to make dinner took Stephan inside with her. We sit down and Amby says

“Girls eat your food. Then you shower and you go to bed. Tomorrow we leave early for your aunt.” Tomorrow is Saturday and we are taking the airplane to go to Kolorado. Is Grace’s and Steven’s son's birthday and because is the weekend we decided to go. Jonathan is four years old and he is Grace itself. The same dark hair and blue eyes. Steven hopes the next one looks like him. Grace is pregnant again but is too soon to see if it is a boy or a girl.

“Ok mommy,” the girls say and smile at her. They love so much Amby, and Amby is so focused on them. After dinner, I did the cleaning and Amby went to prepare the girls for bed. And then she put little Stephen to sleep.

I found her in the shower washing her hair and I stood for a while only to look at her. She is the same beautiful girl I met seven almost years ago. When she washed the shampoo she opened her eyes and she saw me.

“Hey,” she says and she moves her finger to get in the shower too. I take off my T-shirt and swimsuit and I go to her. I push her on the wall

Amber pov

We are at Jonathan’s birthday party, I hold Stephan in my arms helping him drink water. The girls play with Jonathan and Henry's sons, David and William. They are six and four years old. After Henry met Chloe he didn’t let her go. He chases her and convinces her to give him a chance and from that day they are inseparable. Henry is meant to be a husband and father. His past is nothing to do with what he is today. Grace with the sheriff is so happy now. They have Jonathan and waiting for one more baby. It would be nice if I could live a pregnancy, but I shouldn’t complain. I have a husband that loves me and he didn’t leave me when I couldn’t give him a child. He stayed with me and he supported me all the way. He is the perfect husband. I wouldn’t change anything. Even if I couldn’t give birth to my kids I love Alex, Lauren, and Stephan more than my life. And George, I could do everything for him, he is my life.

“Can I take Stephen?” Chloe asks and I nod

“Of course. Maybe he wants to walk through”

“No problem. We will go to his sisters” I put him down and she looked at him

“Go see your sisters?”

“Yes,” he says sweetly and Chloe takes his hand and they walk to the play area, to watch the older kids play. He starts talking and he is so cute

“So. How is life with my brother?” Grace asks and I look at George. He is sitting with the other guys and they talking.

“If I say perfect, it will sound cheesy?”

“No. It will sound true. Despite the difficulties, if you are with the one you love everything is fine in the end” she says looking at her man. We continue talking and after the party, we return to the hotel. Grace has already many guests in the house, and we thought it better to stay at a hotel. At the last minute though Stephanie wanted to keep the kids with her at Grace's house. Of course, Grace agreed, she was happy every time having her nephews and nieces in her house. We take Stephan with us, he has difficulty sleeping without me or George. We have had him only four months and he doesn't sleep easily in other houses.

But when I sing him a lullaby he fell asleep.

I sing to him and George looking at me smiling. When Stephan slept I put him in his crib and I hugged George that he came next to me.

“You ok about mom with the girls?” He asks me

“Of course, I don’t have a problem. The girls missed their grandma too. I will let her keep Stephen too but if he is awake in the middle of the night she will have a problem putting him to sleep again”

“That’s for sure. He wants only you. Like his dad” he says and I look at him

“George?”

“Yes, baby?”

“Are you sure that you are ok with us not having our kids?” I say and he caresses my face

“I wouldn’t change anything. We have a family. That is what we wanted. So don’t trouble your beautiful head” he hugs me touching his chin on my head. My head rests on his chest. I hear his heart beating

“I love you, George.”

“I love you too Amby. All of you. You gave me the family that I wanted” he says and I hold him tight.

“Hold me in your arms tight. We don't need to talk. As long as I feel you next to me.”

“I will never leave you Amby. You are mine”

“I know you will always be here for me. And that is enough for me. I don't want anything else. I no longer need to be great, dynamic, successful, independent. I just want to be happy. With you. I just want to be a woman, your wife” he squeezes me tightly and I don’t need anything else. The only thing I wanted in my life was to have a happy family and I did it. The only that I wish from now on is for everything to stay like that. I, the love of my life, and our children be happy together.
