Today is my birthday party at Frank’s bar and I’m excited. The sad truth is I have to celebrate my birthday since my parents live. They always make me the best party. I had many friends from high school but when I returned from college and after my parents died Ryan made me get away from my friends. It hurts the most to be away from Sissy, she was my friend from kindergarten. She tried so many times to help me but Ryan threatened me a lot of times so I had to cut her from my life. I hope when all this is finished and contact her she will forgive me.
“Sweetheart, are you ready?” I hear George from the living room
“Yes, I’m coming. I’m putting my heels on and I’ll be right there” I say and I take a last look at myself in the mirror. I’m wearing a royal blue fitted dress a little up from the knee. Gift from George for my birthday. Last night he prepared a romantic dinner for my birthday and he gave me a dress with black high heels and a beautiful silver necklace with a small diamond. Everything I’m wearing now is his gift. I take my clutch and walk to the living room
“Ready, “ I say and George looks at me smiling
“The color is perfect on you,” he says and he passes his hands around my waist
“Thank you, baby. You look gorgeous too as always” he's wearing a plaid blue jacket with a light blue shirt and blue pants the same as the jacket. He is smiling and he kisses me
“Do we have to go? I rather stay here with you all night long.” He says give me light kisses on my neck
“Like yesterday” I push him away
“Yes, we have to go. I have years to celebrate my birthday”
“You didn’t complain last night when you screamed my name the five times,” he says with a proud smile
“No, I didn’t. We can continue after my party” I say and give him and passionate kiss

The bar is fifteen minutes from the car, I told George to take a taxi or his driver in case he wants to drink something. He prefers to have his driver and my “bodyguard” Xavier for tonight and soon he left us for the bar. Aria and Frank are already there
“Happy Birthday,” Aria says excitedly and she hugs me. Frank also wished me Happy Birthday and then he showed us where to sit. At a big table in the back but with a good view of the area that the band and the singer are in.
“Wow Chloe has a great voice,” I say excited when we sit and I hear her singing
“I know right? Amazing” Aria says and we order drinks. Frank has run a few things in the bar and then he will sit we us. During the half-hour, everyone arrived with wishes and gifts. Only Henry isn’t here yet, he texted George that is on his way here.
When Henry came we drank and danced too. Soon the guys had a surprise, Chloe started singing “Happy Birthday” and one waiter brought and birthday cake. I gasp excitedly and I look around my new friends smiling. When the song stopped I made my wish and blew the candles, twenty-five.
I look around again blessed for the life I have now. George looking at me with a smile and he wishes me again Happy Birthday. I kiss him hard, I’m so grateful that I met him.
“Thank you, baby. I love you” I say and he kisses me
“I love you too” Suddenly I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn around and I see Hannah. She wishes me again and then everyone else again. A few hours pass with drinks and dance. Chloe came to sit with us, during her break from her performance. I noticed Henry couldn’t take her eyes off her and I liked that. Chloe was glaring at him secretly but I noticed that. Can you imagine them ending up together? How cool will that be?
“Do you want to have a dance together?” George tells me to my ear, I couldn’t say no all night I was dancing with the girls.
“Sure. I would love to” I say and we walk to the small dance area. Chloe starts singing “Can’t Help Falling in Love by Elvis Presley” and other couples join the dance

as we dance, we smile silly at each other. I guess love can make you look so goofy. I look around and I see Hannah and the others with the same look on their faces. When we dance two more songs we walk back to the table, I see Henry at the bar drinking his scotch and looking at Chloe again.
“I think Henry is into Chloe. He hasn’t stopped looking at her” I say to George
“You are right. I hope it lasts” he says and returns to our talk with the others.
When we arrived home George lifted me and he took me straight to the bedroom. He put me down and he cups my face
“You promise something before,” he says with a smirk
“I did,” I say and I take off his jacket. Then I unbutton his shirt looking at him seductively and he smiles back. No one says something, it didn’t have to. He stays only with his pants and I turn around with my back on him
“Will you help me?” I say and he unzips my dress. It falls from my shoulders and then he kisses my shoulder. I turn around and smile at him
“I promise something. Did I?” I say seductively and I unbutton his pants never leaving his eyes.
