Chapter 12

Amber pov

We settled at our table and after we ordered I decided to ask George how is he. From the moment that his mother left, he is very thoughtful

“Are you ok baby?” I ask and he looks at me

“Yes. Don’t get me wrong I’m happy that my mother reviewed for her life and what to part of our life. God, I remember how many times I had pleased her to play with me as a kid, how sad I was when I was awarded for my degrees” he sighs

“My world is very toxic she says. I pray she is true about all that. I don’t want me and the others to end up hurt again. I believe her this time” he says and I hold his hand

“I know that you give her a chance because of me and if your doubts are true you will blame me”

“Amby”

“Let me finish”

“I felt that she was telling the truth. Maybe she wasn't the ideal mother until now but she is willing to try. She doesn’t know how to be a mother but she makes an effort to be. Grace, Henry and you have a chance now to be family even only with your mom. Don’t waste it. At least try from your side”

“I will sweetheart. Thank you. Even after all these mean words that she says to you, you forgive her”

“George she is a mother and she wants the best for her kids. She just learned the wrong way about what happiness means. We can show her now what being truly happy means” he squeezes my hand

“You are a right sweetheart. Now let's talk about us”

“Ok,” I say and I take a sip from my wine

“Now that settled about living together for good. I want to move to a bigger house with a garden and yard” he says and even if I’m suprised and super excited I will give him a big smile

“You have said that you want to live in a house with a big yard and garden like your mom’s used to have. I can give you that and I want to choose together the house that we will live in” he says the smile didn’t leave my face

“Have I told you that I can’t believe my luck that you came into my life?” I say and my eyes are wet. The waiter came with our food and I tried to wipe my eyes without messing with the makeup.

“Did I ruin the makeup?” I ask him

“No Amby is perfect like before. You didn’t touch the eye only down” and he shows the spot down his eye. I giggle, God how happy can a person be?

“So? We will start looking for a house?” He asks and he takes a bite from his steak

“Yes. The soon as possible” I say and he smiles wide

“Fantastic. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you” he says lifting his wine.

After we eat we order dessert

“George now that there isn’t a problem with Ryan,” I say and he lifts his eyes to me

“I want to go back for a while to see my old friends. I had to push them out of my life and now I want to apologize and have contact with them again” he smiles

“Of course sweetheart. That’s great I want to meet Sissy that you talk with so many beautiful words about her” he says and gratitude, joy, and love feels my heart

“Thank you, baby. It means so much to me that I’m with somebody who respects me and supports me”

“I’m always here and I will be always here sweetheart”

“Thank you. Do you want to come with me? I will love to meet her”

“Of course. I will talk to Henry. I would like to see Grace too anyway. How many days do you want?” He says with a smile

“How many can you take? And I will talk to Aaron too. Is time for my days off from work too”

“For now I have only some research to do. I can do it and away from the office. So talk with Aaron about how many days can you be away and we will organize our trip” I smile

“Thank you.”

“I think is time for me to give you your gift,” he says and takes out a little box from his pocket. He gives it to me, I tell him to thank you and I open it

“It’s so beautiful.” I take them off, there is a set of beautiful earrings. I take off what I have on and wear the new ones.

“How do I look?”

“Gorgeous” I put the old earnings in the box and put it in my bag

“Yours is at home. It didn’t fit in my clutch”

“No problem. I have one more home too”

“Another? You should stop buying me more than I need baby”

“It’s our anniversary”

“I’m not talking about today,” I say and I look at him

“I want to spoil my girlfriend. What’s the problem with that?”

“I don’t need so many gifts and material goods. I need only you. Ok I’m not complaining that you think of me and you want to offer me the world as you say, but have you thought that I want just you” I say with a smile

“OK, I will reduce the gifts only to holidays, anniversaries, birthdays, and vacations. The last I can give” he says seriously and I laugh

“Ok. Only the important. Anyway, I don’t need so many gifts. Thank you but there are other ways to show me your love”

“Having you in my life is a gift for me too”

We finished our romantic dinner and we returned home. I went to the bedroom and I took his gift from the closet. I changed into my lingerie red set that I bye for him and when I was ready I walked to the living room. He has taken off his costume jacket and his hand rolls off his sleeves from his shirt until his elbows. He is looking hotter when he does that.

“Hey,” I say and I walk to him with the gift box in my hand

“Wow. What is my gift? You or the box?”

“Both,” I say and I give him the box first. We sit on the couch he sits on the couch I sit on his lap.

He opens it and his mouth goes wide open

“Sweetheart you shouldn't buy me this. Is the latest model and very expensive” he says as he takes it off the box

“You wanted the last PSP and I wanted finally to take you something good”

“You shouldn’t”

“Baby I had the opportunity and I take it. Please expect it without lecturing” I say and he kisses me

“OK but as I promise you no more gifts for no reason I want you not to buy me expensive gifts”

“But you do and I expect them without protest”

“It’s different for me,” he says and I stand up

“I don’t want to fight with you tonight but let me tell you this. If I want I will buy you whatever I want and I will not need a lecture from you. You bring me almost every day a present and they are not cheap. What I’m supposed to do?”

“Sweetheart. I know you work and you spend your money as you want. I just don’t want to spend them for me”

“Why not? You do it”

“Ok, I see where this going and I will stop here. Is our anniversary today and I don’t want to end up fighting for our finances” I sigh and look at him

“George, for months now I have lived with you. I don’t pay rent or for groceries. It is a special day so I wanted to give you something that you want. I didn’t think about the money because I had them and I wanted to spend it on you. Can you accept your gift leave this behind and we enjoy our anniversary?” I say and he is smiling. He left the box down on the coffee table and he hugged me from my waist. I caress his hair and I kiss him

“I like the red on you,” he says and I giggle

“That’s why I take it in red. For you” I say and he lifts me. We continued kissing until we went to the bedroom and he lay me on the bed, then he continued on my neck. When he squeezes my breasts and puts one n****e in his mouth I moan his name

“f**k Amby. You are so sensitive to my touch” he says and he continues with my other n****e. The lingerie soon is torn by him, I look at him

“What? I just opened my gift” he says and I laugh

“Come here,” I say and I pull him to me. I kiss him passionately and I feel his already hard c**k on my entrance. Jesus I don’t even have to try, he is always hard when I kiss him like that.

“God I can't wait to have my gift,” he says and he starts work.
