"Take him down!" the man with an arrow lodged in his arm barked at the other two, his eyes blazing with fury at Martin. "Leave it to us," the two men sneered, advancing toward Martin. "Stop right there! One more step, and I'll shoot," Martin warned, drawing his bow and aiming at them. The two men halted, a flicker of fear crossing their faces as they saw the bow in Martin's hands.
