Smoke wafted gently in the air.
Martin carried three bamboo tubes filled with water back to the camp, walked up to Dwayn and his two companions, and set the bamboo down in front of them.
"These are all fresh water, you can take them back," Martin said casually.
Initially, Dwayn and his companions were completely baffled as to why Martin had disappeared for an entire afternoon and returned with three bamboo tubes. They thought he was playing a trick on them. But upon hearing that the bamboo contained fresh water, the three were stunned.
Samuel quickly checked.
"Water, it really is fresh water!" Samuel exclaimed with a trembling voice after checking.
Dwayn and Fiona's faces were filled with astonishment, still somewhat in disbelief.
