I was sitting in my office. The sun had already set down. I hadn't left my office in a few days. It had been a week or ten days maybe. I couldn't tell because my mind was numb and I was still angry. I was waiting for myself to calm down before I could step up. But the anger inside me just kept growing. A light knock on my office door pulled me out of the oceans of my thoughts. "Come in!"
My secretary, Miss Blair, stepped into my office. I was annoyed with her presence since I told her not to disturb me. But I couldn't forbid her because of the coming elections. "Yes, Miss Kanley, what can I do for you?" I asked her in a taunting way.
