Chapter Ten Kiana and I worked on a menu for the Fisher-Carpenter wedding. She ran it by Sawyer, but he wasn’t sure what Tara would end up wanting. He called a few friends, but they all told him that Tara would decide when she got there. That did not help me out. Steak was front and center of every menu, with chicken or fish as alternates. Kiana worried some guests wouldn’t want fish or steak so we considered all three, but then it was above their budget. “What if we do chicken and seafood for dinner, but a good steak appetizers?” I suggested.
