The morning sunlight illuminated in the room where Bruce and Cullen were still wrapped together under the duvet. Bruce blinked his eyes and opened them and was greeted by a rose tattooed back that belonged to the naked Cullen. Cullen looked up and met Bruce’s inquiring eyes that were piercing into his own eyes and gave a light smirk.

“You should have good faith in your performance at least. I have not felt this amount of pleasure for a long time because I’ve been having s*x with Betas when I know damn well that Omegas only find pleasure in Alphas, and being a hyper-dominant Omega didn’t give me the satisfaction I craved whenever I had s*x with Betas, but I will prefer Betas over Alphas any day, so I don’t think we can meet like this ever again. I’m really grateful for your help and I know that I also helped you too.” Cullen said as he finished buttoning up his shirt.

Bruce was taken aback by what he heard. He couldn’t believe that someone would use him as a one-night stand. The thought angered him, but he decided to keep his cool. He wouldn’t make Cullen think that he lacked Omegas.

“You are right, Cullen, this is just a one-time thing and we shouldn’t dwell on it. We should just call it quits and move on and don’t worry about anything because I won’t tell anyone that you are an Omega,” Bruce said, smiling through his teeth. This was the first time he had to pretend and not take what he wanted.

“I don’t really care if everyone knows that I’m an Omega and I know for a fact that you won’t tell anyone that I’m an Omega. That is why you are still alive. If it were another Alpha, I would have killed him the first time I recovered my mind.”

Cullen said as he made his way to the door but was stopped midway by Bruce.

“I know it’s not in my place to say this, but an Omega that uses suppressants to avoid accidents like this, what would have happened if you encountered a creep yesterday night in that toilet?” Bruce advised.

“I don’t know what happened too, but thanks for the advice, but you are also a creep,” Cullen said as he opened the door. He really meant it when he said that he had no idea what happened because he had not had any heat cycle since when he was seventeen and he just had one now that he is thirty-two, he decided to go and see a doctor to know what was truly going on with his body. He took out his phone and called the hospital to book an appointment, and when his doctor heard what he said, he told him to come immediately, so he called his driver to come and carry him.

ST. LUIS HOSPITAL

DOCTOR’S OFFICE

A middle-aged man dressed in a doctor’s coat can be seen sitting opposite Cullen. He is Dr. Edwards, and he is the family doctor that has been treating Cullen since he was young.

“I told you to always come for a check-up. The drugs that your father forced you to take then still have lingering effects on you, but having a heat cycle is a process, considering that it’s been fifteen long years since you last went through a cycle.”

Edwards adjusted his glasses as he read through the file. He had made Cullen go through some series of tests when he came to the hospital, but he paused when he saw something.

“Cullen going through a heat cycle is one thing, but being marked by an Alpha is another thing. Is your Alpha aware of your health condition?” Edwards asked as he raised his eyes.

“What do you mean by 'marked’?” Cullen asked, raising his voice and this scared Edwards.

‘The results show that you were recently marked by a hyper-dominant Alpha and his pheromones are quite high. If you were a weak Omega, you would have gone through pheromone shock,’ Edwards replied slightly trembling. He knows that Cullen was younger than him, but he knows how dangerous Cullen can be whenever he is angry. He personally witnessed how Cullen killed his own father. Others heard the stories, but he was present when the whole incident happened.

Cullen’s face twisted in anger, his mind flashed to Bruce and his mood soured. He was not really a fan of being tied down. He treated relationships as distraction and waste of time, and being marked by an Alpha like Bruce is not really ideal. He looked at Edwards and sighed.

‘Yeah, something like that could have happened yesterday night during my sudden heat cycle. An Alpha I know helped me,’ he said as his face eased up a little. ‘The reason why I’m here is to know if the heat cycle will now be regular,’ he added.

‘It will be irregular at first, but I will prescribe some drugs and a very good suppressant. I would have recommended an implant, but we will like to monitor and observe you to know the development" Edward replied as he breathed out, he didn't even know he was holding his breath till now. He may be an Alpha but he is very submissive to Cullen and fears his Wrath.

"Will I start emitting pheromones?" Cullen asked again.

"I don't know if you can notice Sir, but you have been leaking pheromones since you entered this room Sir" Edward replied while looking at Cullen to know his reaction.

Cullen pondered for a moment before he made his decision. He can't even smell his own pheromone to even know if it's really leaking out and he can't blame anyone else because it's his body and the scent belongs to him. The only issue now is that Bruce marked him without his consent. He took his drugs from Edward and bid him farewell. He just wants to go back to his house, have a nice hot shower and sleep because he still feels weak after everything he did with Bruce, his mind wandered off to the s*x he had and a gentle smile appeared on his face, he admits that the s*x was the best one he has ever had but he can't see himself in the same situation again especially with a man like Bruce Walters.
