Asteria Celeste Averix Levington POV
I entered the room, took a shower, and dressed before heading straight to bed. I'll just sleep now. It's Kian's responsibility in the living room since it's her fault she slept there.
She should go directly to the room. I truly wish to wake her up to prevent her from having a tough time there. The issue is, she might just be mad at me. It remains challenging when she continues to disturb herself. She turns into a tiger.
Oh, perhaps that's where they did something with Kate. It must have been so enjoyable that she couldn't bring herself to move to the room.
Oh, I forgot that she doesn't want to be near me because she prefers to be with Kate. Negative thoughts again, Asteria.
"Leave it be, one day she'll be beside you in bed," I lamented. Will I always cry because of her?
"Why just only me?" I continue to ask, as if speaking to her. But I'm merely whispering to the wind.
"I don't think I only want you," my tears continued to fall. I dislike the sudden idea that has entered my mind, but can I stop it?
"I think I love you," I continued, questioning my own words. Really, Asteria? You know she's a playgirl, yet you've fallen for her. Why is she still here?
"I used to love Sorin, why is it like this now? I even believed that Sorin was destined for me. Wasn't it destiny that paved the way for me to meet her? Or maybe I just imagined it. Maybe it's not really Sorin. Just having you here next to me makes my heart race."
"She will like me too. She will love me too. That day will come. But I guess I really hope so," I whispered to myself.
The next day, I woke up with puffy eyes from crying myself to sleep last night, still consumed by my thoughts. Though they were filled with negativity, I couldn't help but smile bitterly.
"Maybe I still need to have fun," I whispered to myself, glancing at my ringing phone.
Sorin Calling...
Accept | End
I have accepted it. Perhaps she can have fun with me.
"Asteria, may I be with you now?" she began.
"Ah, yes," I answered. Did I just imply that she would be with me again? I could hear the smile in her voice.
"Really? Good then," she responded.
"Actually, I was going to make you happy too," I admitted, affirming what I had thought earlier.
"Oww, I'll pick you up later. Yusei told me your address," she said.
"Alright," I replied, feeling a mix of anticipation and uncertainty.
I hung up and set the cell phone down. Wait, is she really going to pick me up here? The thought repeated in my mind over and over again.
Wait, Kian is still here; she might get annoyed with me. She might see Sorin with me again. The last time she saw us together, she did something to me.
"Oh, it's true. It doesn't matter to me at all," I reassured myself, trying to muster hope. Before we met, I took a shower and got ready. After that, I heard the sound of Sorin's horn.
I continued to make my way outside, unsure if my wife was awake or even watching me. As I stepped out, Sorin greeted me warmly, opening the door for me and ushering me inside her car.
We remained quiet during the drive. Sorin focused on the road, occasionally glancing out the window. Sometimes, it's comforting to have someone by your side when you're seeking enjoyment.
With Sorin by my side now, I feel like she's my savior, rescuing me from the sadness in my life. She's always there for me, ready to have fun whenever I need her. Our trip took a long time because the destination was quite far from us.
We're now at the Enchanted Kingdom, where we decided to go for a walk. I didn't refuse because I've had good experiences here before.
"Let's go to the Air Race?" I asked Sorin. I used to be afraid of it, but now I wasn't. She looked at me and pulled me along excitedly.
"Let's go," I said eagerly. We stood in line, patiently waiting our turn. Finally, it was our chance to ride.
I can right what is wrong,
I can dance,
I can fly,
I can reach the heavens above and touch the rainbow in the sky,
I can be your good friend until the end.
The song played while we were riding. After a few minutes, it was over, and we descended. I held my head, feeling a bit disoriented.
"I got dizzy there," I said, laughing as I tried to regain my balance.
"Oh no," she turned to me with concern, noticing my discomfort.
"But the experience was good," she added, to which I responded with a thumbs up, acknowledging the enjoyable adventure despite the dizziness.
We lined up at Rio Rapids Grande, but the queue was very long. There were so many people today, making it a busy day at the park.
"Finally," I exclaimed as we boarded the ride. We circled around like a boat, speeding up as we went. I quickly dodged whenever the water splashed towards us.
Fear of getting wet. Finally back home. Sorin kindly dropped me off right at the front gate. I didn't hesitate to let her do it, knowing she was just as tired as I was.
I stepped inside, greeted by darkness. I flicked on the light switch and there sat Kian on the sofa, glaring at me. It seemed like she had been waiting for me there. I tried to calm her down, but as I turned to head upstairs, she suddenly grabbed my hand.
"I'm hurting, Kian," I said softly, attempting to gently remove her grip from my hand.
"Where are you from?" she asked, her eyes already searching for answers.
"Leave me alone," I replied, avoiding her question. I was tired and just wanted to rest.
"Answer me," she ordered angrily, her tone demanding a response.
"Let go of me," I said firmly, not in the mood to argue with her right now.
"Can't you hear me asking where you're from?" she persisted, refusing to release my hand.
"Why?!" I shouted in frustration, desperate for an answer to her relentless questioning.
"Where have you been?" she asked, her tone calmer but still carrying a hint of sharpness in her gaze.
"Kian, could you please let go of my hand? It's not like you really care about me," I said, feeling a mix of frustration and exhaustion.
"Why don't you come home or stay out late, did I ask where you're from? Huh?" I burst out, feeling a surge of frustration and pent-up emotions.
"Answer me," she repeated, refusing to let go of the issue at hand.
"I'm tired, Kian. I'm going to sleep, so please let go of my hand," I said firmly, feeling the weight of exhaustion settling in.
"Okay, fine. We're going to Enchanted Kingdom," I sighed, conceding defeat and relenting to her request.
"Who are you with?" she asked, seeking clarification.
"I'm with Sorin. I've already answered your questions. Please, let me go," I insisted, trying to free myself from her grip as she pulled me towards the room. Eventually, we reached the room.
She guided me to the bed and helped me lie down.
