“Every time I hear my baby girls voice or see her beautiful face it washes away all the regret and pain. I
know the day will come when she has to know the truth but as long as she and that boy stay clear from
each other then that gives me more time to tell her the truth on my own or never at all. I just pray she
can forgive me. It has been hard lying to her for the past four and a half years but, it needed to be done
for the wellbeing of everyone. That’s a story for another day, now to figure out what the hell is going on
at this damn school.” Nyshia thought to himself while pulling his truck into the college lot.
“Hey Alpha glad you could make it” Said my beta Josh
“Yup glad to see you here too on time for once. Now what happened here?” I said with sarcasm
“I…I yeah boss. Right, anyway uh… well it looks like some old wiring to be honest. Just an old building
needing some much updated repairs.”
“Ok… So what does the fire marshal think? Can it be repaired before the start of the semester?” I asked
“Well… no it can’t be. It looks as if this building has a lot of code violations that need tending to before
the doors can open again.” He said nervously.
“Josh why the hell are you so nervous, what are you leaving out”
“The sheriff ran the numbers several times with your office treasure, the repair company, and the comissioner. They all decided after carefull consideration that it is going to cost the town too much money at this time to fix all the problems therefore the comissioner has decided to condemn the school till further notice. He has all ready spoken to the dean. The deans office has already started making calls and started to quickly transfer students to schools will to except the students this late into the semester and it is all out of town schools meaning….”
“Meaning this could be a problem for BB.” I said cutting him off. (Sighing) Alright well get this place sorted
out and finish clearing out all the on lookers. I am going to tell BB and make sure that she is ok with the school
change.
"Sir I over heard a few of the students talking and apparently alot of the online courses for other schools are full till next year. So alot of them have to attend in person and unfortunately the closest school is in Beaver Damn and they don’t have an online course.” Josh said with caution
"Thats just great...Well maybe the school can send over a student or student aid to help. Tell the dean we will pay what ever the extra fees will be and if Bella is ok with it perhaps the student can live in the manor till graduation we will take over all the students school fees as well to show our appreciation for their help and decretion. Please inform the dean I want this kept quiet and stress the importantance of the situation with out giving to much information away. The dean can inform the student personally on the case and make sure they are to sign a HIPPA contract first" I said with a stern tone.
“Copy that Nys… I mean Alpha”
“i***t… ( Sighing) I better head home and talk to BB about this."
40 Minutes Later….
“BB, honey where are you?” I yelled out entering her room
“In the kitchen Daddy”
“Ah… Hey there sweetie how was your day?”
“It was ok. I did a little reading in the library and helped out around the Manor. How was everything at the school?”
“Well that is why I am home so early. It seems that the school will not be re-opening at this time. The
sheriff and school board have already started the transfers to other school and have assigned you to the University of Beaver Damn but they don’t have any online courses. Now hear me out and don’t panic we will request for a trust worthy werewolf that attends the school to assist you, They just… may have to stay here is all.” I said waiting for the ball to drop, but it never came. I took that opportunity to look at my princess and see tears in her eyes and terror written all over her face. Being the concerned father I am I went to her immiediately and before I could wrap her in my arms she smiles says….
“It is ok dad, I understand and will make arrangements to suit the situation. I am not excited, actually I am quite scared, but I can’t live in fear all my life and will have to eventually face the world head on. Not to mention I can't wait to live with a room (mate sort of) and see how it feels to possibly have a friend. Hopefully this person will be open minded and kind hearted. Thank you for not pushing me to give up on finishing out my year to obtain my degree. You are the best. I am going to finish my reading before dinner..” She said hugging me, and then running off to the library.
“Hey BB?” I called after her
“Yes dad” She responded stopping to turn and face me.
“Aren’t you forgetting something?” I asked
“MMMMMM?” She retorted with confusion edged on her face
“Your rose my dear!” I said lifting my are with a fully bloomed white rose in hand
“Oh daddy, thank you so much” She said running back to retrieve the flower and give me a hug with the most beautiful smile on her face.
“BB please remember that you are as beautiful as a single white rose and just as pure. I love you BB”
“Thanks dad and I love you more” She said as she retreated without a glance back.
“Well than, good talk Nyshia. Why thank you, I don’t think we did too bad huh” I said to myself
“Please stop talking to yourself you old fool” My wolf said laughing
“You are just as old as me fur ball” I retorted
“Yeah but our mate didn’t think I was old did she?” He laughed while we continued our daily banter and heading back out to work.
