Bella’s POV:
My dad came home today to tell me that the school has found someone very trust worthy and gave our house staff a list of things to do to prepare for our guest. Unfortunately my dad can’t be here to greet our guess as little miss not his mate wife wants to go on a get away to celebrate their anniversary so they will be doing some traveling and visiting her home for a while.
“Hey BB upstairs in my study, there is a picture of your mom on the back wall. If anything ever happens go to my study and look at the picture it will guide you as it has done for me all these years.”
“I will dad and you be safe I don’t really want you to go but I know that you will be ok. Is uncle Josh going with you?” I asked him in confusion
“NO, I need him here to take care of things and making sure that you are ok while I am away.”
“Oh ok sounds great I feel better already but will be upbeat once you return.”
“I know BB and I will soon. I love you Bella Bear”
“I love you more daddy”
My dad gave me my rose repeating his same quote as always. { Remember Bella you are as beautiful as a single white rose, and just as pure as one} he kissed my forehead and left out. I felt a stray tear slip but I wiped it away and went to my garden to place the single white rose my dad brought in the pond with the others. My guest will be arriving soon so I head back inside and set up my office. Its fairly dark in there and no one can see my face so its perfect for our meeting sessions. There is a separate desk with plenty of lighting for my guest to work at and we never have to face each other clearly until I am comfortable.
“Hey BB your guest is here,” Tamielia said. She is the maid that practically raised me so she is like my nana. I am not sure when she started working here just that she has always been there for me and never treated my any other way than as if I were her very own. Sadly though she never found her met and never had children so I guess in a way lucky me.
“Thanks nana we will meet here in my study .”
“Very well sweetheart I will escort him here promptly”
“Wait! Did you just say he?”
“Why yes my child. Your guest is a male, a very handsome one at that and very well mannered.”
“Oh, I just assumed it was a female. And I don’t care how handsome he is, although I am sure my beauty will phase his heart.” I said sarcastically
“Oh BB honey you are beautiful and no matter how handsome any man is never let them make you feel
otherwise. Now straighten up and I will bring him here to meet you. Dinner will be ready momentarily. I
assume since we have guest you will eat in your loft room?”
“Yes and don’t worry about breakfast or lunch, I will cook in my loft room, so for now just dinner is to be
served to my room please nana”
“As you wish sweetheart” She replies leaving the room.
Before my dad moved out he turned my room into a miniature loft because I would never leave my room. Now I use it once in a while or when the staff leaves for the weekend I can care for myself without going down stairs… Now to make my way to my office and meet with our guest. As I sit in my office chair and pull my hood over my head that
partially covers my face I hear the door open and in step the most handsome guy I have ever seen. My heart clenches at the thought that I may scare him away with my beastly looks.
“Ok sir this is where I leave you. If you should need anything please don’t hesitate to ask.” I heard nana tell my guest before parting and leaving him standing in my open doorway.
“Come in” I said and he jumped startled by my sudden voice. He walks in closers looking around.
“Please have a seat.” I said softly
“Ok… uh do you mind if we turn on the lights more I can hardly see you sir.”
“GGGGGRRRRRRRR…. I AM NOT A SIR I AM A FEMALE AND IT WILL SERVE YOU RIGHT TO REMEMBER THAT…” I say so angrly not realizing that maybe my beastliness has caused him not to know that I am a female. However I need to calm down, it is not his fault.
“Listen I mean you no harm and I am aware that this is not normal however I am a female and I like the darkness therefore I ask that you respect that and we will get along just fine.”
“I see well I didn’t mean to offend…” He started and I cut him off holding up a hand.
“None taken. Now while I appreciate you coming I must lay down a few rules and they are as follows:
#1. While here you are allowed no guess on the premises
“No need I am ok going out to meet my friends” He interrupted and I simply nodded
#2. You are not a prisoner so you are free to come and go as you need I only ask the you be mindful that
the house staff leave after 7pm and don’t return till 6am
#3. On the weekends there is no staff and you are not required to be here if you don’t want so if you do
decide to stay you are more than welcome to and will need to fend for yourself
#4.Last but cerntainly not least NEVER by any means nessasary are you to enter the west wing
“Whats in the west wing” he interrupted again
“IT’S FORBIDDEN!!!” I growled out
