Why isn’t Lilith visiting him?
Oscar sat alone in his private study, the crackling fire in the hearth casting dancing shadows on the walls. The warmth from the flames did little to thaw the coldness that had settled deep within him. And yes, he is capable of feeling- his heart works fine, just slower.
It had been nearly three weeks since his wife, Katherine, had spoken to him. Three long weeks of silence and separation, and the weight of it was beginning to crush him.
