Zara does not go to Prince Manor as she is hurting too much, regretting ever agreeing to come to the Higher Council and participate in Queen Lara’s scheme.
Zara hears the bedroom door open and her eyes open. Even though she has never shifted into her wolf form she has night vision as good as any Werewolf. Her back is turned to the door, and she wonders if she should turn around and get ready to attack. A wonder appealing male scent hits her nostrils and she relaxes when she hears the voice in her head of who the scent belongs to.
