Love. They say it is a mutual feeling people share,a feeling of joy and happiness. But sometimes, love hurts. It hurts when the people you live hurt you or are hurt. While everyone were trying to get over the recent tragedies,Cole just cocooned himself, drinking and regretting. His love for Shirley was more than he could offer anyone else yet he couldn't protect her at the moment she needed him. His foster father was still hoping to find Shirley but Dwayne just isolated himself with the thought she was gone and nothing could be done.
While drinking, his phone rang. He checked the caller and sighed, realizing it was Sheriff Cole. He picked his phone, hesitant,he eventually answered the call.
"Hello sir" he greeted.
"Dwayne, there's trouble" the Sheriff stated, making Dwayne shiver.
"What is the problem?" He asked, hoping it won't be about Shirley.
"It's Shirley, the dark one sent me a video of her unconscious. He says we shouldn't bother finding her but we should wait till her importance to him fades" the older man stated. His statement just made Dwayne freeze with a million thoughts racing I'm his mind.
"But we have to do something" Dwayne protested, furrowing his eyebrows as he noticed a dark figure on his porch.
"I don't know what to do,I'll just tell Alpha Alfred" Sheriff Cole said and hung up.
"Man,this is bad" Dwayne said, pretending to be oblivious to the lurking figure.
The figure speed towards him with the intention of decapitating him,he luckily dodged, kicking it in the groin. He grabbed the figure by the neck and slammed it on the ground. Peering at it,he realized it was a troll(a lower version of vampires which have scary looks but are way weaker).
"What the f**k do you want?" He questioned, deepening his already sprouting claws into the Troll.
"You would never understand Dwayne Sydney. If I were you I'd run cos the dark one's coming for you" the troll said, smirking. This made Dwayne shudder because he knew why he was haunted.
Without wasting a second,he ripped the Troll's head off and hurriedly packed a few things he needed, especially his ticket to China. Before leaving,he looked at the wall and took the bracelet there,he smiled, remembering what Shirley did.

FLASHBACK
.
"Shirley are you nuts?" Dwayne yelled at Shirley who stood arms akimbo, obviously they were having an argument.
"See Dwayne, there's another Dragon out there causing mayhem. I'm also a Dragon and I won't want to cause destruction" She replied.
"But you encasing your powers in a bracelet is the most stupid thing ever" he protested.
"See Dwayne,I've got a hunch that Dragon is going to use me. I might not be able to stop her but at least,I can prevent massive destruction" Shirley stated calmly, grabbing his arms.
"But..."
"No buts okay. Let me do this…Trust me it'll be fine" she cut him off, planting a kiss on his lips.
"Okay Shirley,I understand" he said, breaking from the kiss. She left him and went into the coven a witch resided. There they communicated and the ritual began.
Half an hour later, she emerged and her face beamed with smiles.
"Did you do it?" Dwayne asked, hugging her.
"Sure,my powers are now in this bracelet" she replied, showing him the bracelet.
"Whoa. Wait, this means you can use your powers when you wear this thing?" He inquired.
"Yes silly" she giggled.
"One more thing" she added, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"What?" Dwayne asked.
"I need you to take this to China when I'm no more" she said. Dwayne suddenly pushed himself away the moment he heard that.
"Why on Earth would you say that?" He yelled.
"I know what I'm saying. Take it to China when I'm no more. This bracelet contains my powers, hence it would lead you any great Dragon Lord who would teach you how to use my powers. After mastering my powers, I want you to come back and clear this whole mess up" she explained.
"But you aren't dying,I'm sure" he protested, throwing his arms in the air.
"Okay I'm not dying but I'll need you to still do this when I won't be available. I don't think my body can bear the responsibilities of a Dragon" she stated.
"Why do you think so?" He asked.
"I can't just hold up on all of my powers so I would love you to continue this Dragon legacy. I know you're strong and can bear it" she said sadly.
"Hey,you're not weak, you're stronger than me" he consoled.
"Okay but keep this" she said, brightening up.
"Okay,I would" he replied, taking the bracelet.
"So…Ice cream?" He asked.
"Sure" she replied and they walked hand in hand towards his car.

PRESENT

Dwayne shuddered as the memory elapsed his brain. He smiled, strapping the backpack to his back.
"China, here we come" he said, shutting his door close.

In McDonald's,people of all class and age walked in,either in groups or single. It didn't matter how they came in,all that mattered was that they came to relax and enjoy themselves.
Sharon and Abel walked inside, chatting happily. They sat on a table and they both struck up a new conversation.
"So Sharon, how're you feeling now?" Abel asked, grinning mischievously. It was obvious he had something in mind.
"I guess I'm cool. So Abel, how does it feel having an artificial heart?" She asked, staring at him.
"It's not much trouble,it's amazing I still have emotions after the whole Demon Wolf thing" he replied.
"You're just lucky *Smiles* you're more than just a superntaural" she said.
"Why are you sounding like that? You're freaking lucky, you're a hybrid. A Wolf and a witch" he complimented, trying to elate her.
"But I barely transform into a Wolf" she Complained. Abel understood what this was going too,so he leaned forward, putting up a Stern face.
"Young lady, don't brood. You brood, you die" he said in a baritone voice. This made Sharon burst into rounds of laughter that attracted the attention of other customers.
"Okay Abel, that wasn't funny" she said to the dismay of Abel.
"Then why did you laugh?" He asked, knowing she was trying to get on his nerves.
"Cos you looked like sculptured crap" she added, making her burst into uncontrollable laughter.
"Yeah, funny right" Abel sneered, going to get their meal.
As Abel left,Drake walked in with Drex by his side. They both had this mean and menacing look that threatened people to not mess with them. They saw Sharon and decided to take a sit near her.
"Hey Sharon" Drake waved her. She looked up from her phone and her gaze shifted to Drake, she gave a smile as she replied back.
As they were having the conversation,Abel walked to the table, dropping their food on it.
"Her Drake. Hey Drex" he greeted, sitting down.
"Hey Abel, how're things going?" Drake asked.
"As you can see…great" Abel replied, still frustrated by Sharon's Savage capping.
"Whoa Sharon,that's Savage." Drake said,laughing.
"Did you just read my mind?" Abel asked, faking anger.
"I'm sorry but I'm a clean master's son,I can't just help it" Drake apologized, his actions left Abel and Sharon shocked.
"Did he just apologize?" They both thought.
"Yeah, you see guys,I've changed. Ever since that night,I've come to a realization that we're all one. I wouldn't want us to keep fighting ourselves while we're on the brink of extinction so it's best we socialize" Drake stated, taking Abel and Sharon aback.
"Okay, this is unexpected" Abel chuckled softly.
"Yeah,so how about we have some fun?" Drake asked, getting up.
"Yeah, wait Drex. Is that red wine?" Abel asked the drinking Drex.
"Nope,it's Trueblood" he replied,smiling.
"Trueblood?" Abel asked, puzzled.
"Yeah, you see,we vampires aren't all about sucking human or animal blood,we mostly consume this" he explained.
"It's like blood beer?" Abel asked.
"Yeah,it's kinda artificial" Drake chipped in.
"Trueblood,it seems cool, where did you get the idea?" Abel asked, wolfing down a burger.
"Ever read Charline Harris' Dead series; the one with a female telepath named Sookie Stackhouse?" Sharon asked.
"Nope, reading sucks" Abel said, his statement angered everyone of them as they left him to devour his meal.
"Not my problem" he shrugged, continuing.
