When life gives you s**t,you've just gotta deal with it.
Two figures sparred fiercely, each eager to defeat the other. The taller figure plunged his sword, aiming for the other's heart. The latter swerved right, deflecting the blow. Before the first figure could land another hit,the second did a triple barrel roll, grabbing his his legs and pinning him to the ground, pointing his sword at the first figure's neck.
"Okay,I yield" Darak said, shoving Abel's sword sideways. He got up and tapped Abel's shoulders slightly.
"Your combat skills have improved" he added with a smile. Abel just had a blank look on his face, obviously having something disturbing his mind.
"Darak" he called, the latter turned abruptly, facing Abel.
"What is it kiddo?" He asked in reply.
"Don't you think it's strange; It's been a month since Maddie attacked and things are just too peaceful?" Abel asked with the frown still on his face.
"Hmph,I know they're planning something big but I don't know what it is. All I know is you must prepared, hell would soon be let loose" Darak replied, furrowing his eyebrows.
"Don't worry, even if hell is let loose,I'll face it" Abel replied, sneaking up on him. Darak spun quickly, grabbing Abel's arm,he hit his shoulder, dislocating it.
"Don't sneak up on a vamp, attack head-on to avoid disasters" he warned and left Abel in his short moment of agony.
LAGOS,NIGERIA
Lanre sat on a concrete pavement with his phone in his hands. Two black oraimo earpods were plugged to his ears, playing Pawon by Olamide. He tapped furiously, not minding the fact he was outside. A hand touched his shoulders slightly and he looked up.
"Oh Sis Amina,it's you" he said, lowering his gaze.
"Lanre stop calling me sis, remember we're dating now" she replied with a slight frown.
"It's just kind of weird, dating my bestie's sister. Like f**k,you're 5 years older" he chuckled.
"But you love me,don't you?" Amina asked, sitting on his legs, facing him.
"Yeah but…"
"Hush,no buts baby…I love you" she cut in, planting a kiss on his lips.
"I love you too,I wouldn't let a damn thing hurt you" he assured, pulling away from the kiss.
"Wait were outside, ain't that weird?" He asked with a disapproving tone.
"Nah,let's enjoy the moment" she replied, trailing her fingers down his chest.
He knew she was trying to make him use his powers hut he didn't simply because of his resolution.
"Baby,I'm not teleporting us outta here" he said firmly. She looked at him and smiled. She slowly got off him, pulling him up.
"Don't worry, very soon you'll use your powers again and you'll realize you're not a curse…Not anymore" she assured, hugging him tightly.
"Gotta go,mom just texted me…She told me to prepare dinner" he said, pulling away.
"Okay but I'll miss you" she said.
"No problems, I'm available, just a ring" he assured, winking. He walked towards his compound, still staring at her. He opened the gate whith his gaze on her. Slowly,he shut it and sprinted towards the door. He was about to open it when he heard a loud scream, one of struggle.
"Amina" he muttered, racing outside. There he got the shock of his life…Amina was struggling against a woman in black. The woman managed to knock her out with a sleeper lock before he could get to her. He wanted to use his powers but he refrained himself, with rage filling him,he bolted towards them.
"Oh Bleeding tattoo,it's of no use" Maddie said with a smirk, making Lanre stop.
"What do you want from me?" he yelled, clenching his fists.
"Trust me,I'm not going to hurt her. I just need your help" she replied.
"Help? What is it?" He asked with a confused expression.
"Trust me,there are Curses out there and if they aren't eliminated, the world would be doomed" she affirmed.
"How do I help you?" He asked.
"Meet me at Johnstone park in Oklahoma tonight".
With that said, she disappeared with Amina, leaving Lanre shocked.
BARTLESVILLE HIGH SCHOOL.
Abel sat with a gloomy look,he was still feeling worried, unsure of what was going to happen. Sharon walked in and sat beside him, tapping his back to jolt him back to reality.
"Hey…Oh Sharon,it's you" he said,sighing.
"You've been worried, what's up?" She asked.
"Oh sorry,I'm just feeling worried. I've got a hunch something bad is gonna happen" he replied.
"You're kinda weird. I mean everyone's feeling good but you're feeling otherwise" she said with a scoff.
"You can't understand. Since I lost my heart,I just feel something is off,we aren't safe" he replied, his gaze fixed upon the ceiling.
"So you're thinking we're all in danger? Well,Sean and Dean don't" she said, smirking.
"What are they up to?" He asked, springing up"
"They're getting tattooed today" she squealed with excitement.
"Seriously? They're wolves, how would they get tattooed? Remember they've got enhanced healingegeneration?" Abel scoffed, now facing Sharon. Sharon rolled her eyes and a smile etched her lips.
"Ever heard of the tattoo?" She asked
"Nope".
"Well, you're about to know" she said.
Before Abel could say a thing, another teacher walked in,bringing peace and quiet into the class.
DYCHE'S MANSION
Lanre stood behind Dean who was on a massage chair with his palms on his arms. He had a focused look, ensuring he did a proper job, rubbing his palms against Dean's skin.
Gradually,Dean's skin began to darken,a pattern forming on his arms. By then, Lanre had stopped and pierced Dean with his claws, pumping some substance into him.
"What was that for?" Dean asked, feeling a surge of pain rack his body.
"Keeping the tattoo,I made it a temporary one. Trust me,you wouldn't want a permanent one" he replied.
Just then,Sean walked in topless, flexing his tattoo.
"Guess who are men now?" He asked Dean.
"Us" they chorused, bursting into laughter. Lanre just shook his head, knowing that they were ignorant of their predicament.
"Gotta leave" he announced, walking towards the door.
"Bro,you never even told us your name" Sean protested, throwing his arms in the air.
"Just call me Lanre…The Bleeding Tattoo" Lanre replied, smiling as he made his way out of the mansion.
As he opened the door,Abel bumped into him. This made Lanre freeze as he realized Abel was his main target. They both locked stares,Lanre was trying to pass a telepathic message to Abel who only cared about knowing who the hell he was.
"Hi,I'm Lanre" he greeted.
"I'm Abel, nice to meet you. Are you the tattooist?" Abel asked.
"Yeah but I've gotta leave" Lanre replied, teleporting himself out of there, leaving a tattoo-like mirage on the spot he left.
"That guy's weird" Abel scoffed as he fully entered the living room.
"He's cooler than you could ever be" Sean sneered, rolling his eyeballs.
DARK ABYSS.
Lanre appeared right before the Dark Multibreed with a sad look on his face,he walked up to him.
"I've done it,where's Amina?" He demanded.
"Lover boy. I know you only poisoned the Wolves, you didn't touch the Multibreed" the former resonated.
"You're a Multibreed, won't your vampire side detect the intense heat if the poison?" Lanre scoffed, standing arms akimbo.
"I see. Bring his girlfriend" The Dark Multibreed ordered as a Centaur emerged with an unconscious Amina on his shoulders. He slowly lay her before Lanre who hesitated before picking her up.
"It's a good thing you didn't hurt her" Lanre said with bloodlust eyes.
"Beware bleeding tattoo. After they're done for, you'll be next" the dark Multibreed threatened in a calm tone.
"Is that a threat?" Lanre asked, picking Amina up.
"It's not a threat,it's my plan" the dark one replied with a slight chuckle.
"You're such an evil son of a b***h. Trying to destroy that guy…Abel. How can you do this to your…Damn,I'll leave now" Lanre replied, teleporting himself and Amina out of there.
Silence prevailed, suiting the darkness surrounding the abyss.
"He knows too much,he's going to be a threat" The Dark Multibreed said, clenching his fist.
BARTLESVILLE HIGH SCHOOL
Abel looked worried seeing the Dyche trio weren't in school. As lessons passed,he couldn't help but tap his feet furiously on the ground. Immediately school closed,he rushed out, boarding a taxi to the Dyches mansion.
Alighting the taxi,he rushed into the house only to find it empty. He ran towards their rooms but didn't find a person there. Almost giving up,he realized there was one last place to check and he headed for it,hoping they were there. Suspense coated him as he opened the door, heaving a sigh of relief as he sighted Sharon and her father facing the beds in the laboratory. Something seemed odd, there were people on the bed.
"What's happening?" He asked, rushing towards them.
"Sean and Dean" Sharon replied.
"What's wrong with them?" He asked.
"They're poisoned" Alpha Alfred replied.
"Oh,but how?" Abel asked, now feeling agitated.
"Tattoo poisoning. I've never heard of it" Alpha Alfred replied.
"Never heard of it. Wait, does that mean they were poisoned via their tattoos?" Abel asked
"Yes" he replied, still examining the boys whose skins were deteriorating.
"I knew something was off with that tattooist,I just couldn't figure it out. What's the way out now?" He asked.
"I don't know,if the seer was alive,he'd tell us" Alpha Alfred shrugged.
"Does that mean they're going to die dad?" Sharon asked.
"Maybe,I'll still check things out" he replied nonchalantly.
"I'll call Darak, he'll know something about this" Abel stated, dialing Darak's number. 30 seconds later,Darak received the call.
"Hello Darak,we've got a problem..."
LAGOS, NIGERIA
Lanre was in his room, frowning at Amina who laid on him. They both were obviously not having a good time.
"What are you going to do now?" Amina asked, breaking the silence.
"I'm going to contact that Dragon" Lanre replied.
"Dragon?" Amina asked, turning around and facing him.
"Yeah, only a Dragon's flames can cure the poison" he replied, calming her down.
"So,are you going to meet that crazy lady now?" She asked, pouting her lips, faking jealousy.
"I'm going to meet the Dragon now" he replied frankly.
"By the way,it's cool to see you using your powers now" she commended, slightly punching him.
"Ouch, that hurts" he replied, holding his hit arm.
"Gotta go now" he said, pecking her lightly as he disappeared.
DYCHES' MANSION
Abel stood arms akimbo, expecting Darak to show up. Alpha Alfred was busy tapping some things on his computer. Sharon just sat by her brothers, weeping .
"Don't worry, they'll be alright" Abel assured, walking up behind her.
"Thanks,I hope so" she replied, still sobbing.
Just then,Darak whooshed in,shocking all of them.
"I got your call" he said, walking towards the beds.
"Tattoo poisoning, how do we cure this?" Alpha Alfred asked.
"Simple,we need a Dragon's flames" Darak replied with a smile.
"And I know just the perfect Dragon" he added, facing all of them.
BARTLESVILLE,OKLAHOMA
A lovely evening, one that made people stream out in groups, chatting as they strolled. Some rode bicycles while others drove slowly, all enjoying the unusually cool summer breeze.
Dwayne and Shirley walked by themselves, dressed as normal citizens. They were having a nice conversation, sharing laughs between themselves.
"Like seriously? I thought you stopped going to that club?" Shirley asked, still laughing.
"I'm not going there again,it's s**t" Dwayne replied, shrugging his shoulders.
"Let's grab a drink" he added, pulling her towards a kiosk selling drinks.
He got a couple of fizzy drinks for them, settling on a couple of plastic chairs. Just before they could start drinking,a figure appeared right before them, startling them.
"Who're you and what do you want?" Dwayne asked, recovering from the shock.
"I need your help Dragon" the figure replied.
"Whoa,who're you?" Shirley asked, shocked.
"There's no time,do you want the Multibreed dead?" the figure questioned. Hearing the Multibreed, Dwayne sprang up.
"What does the Multibreed need a Dragon for?" He asked, towering above the figure who didn't flinch. Rather,he smiled.
"Im not talking,I'm talking to the Dragon" he replied, pointing at Shirley.
"For your other question,I poisoned the Alpha's sons and I need your help to make an antidote" he replied.
"Okay,I'll help. I seem to trust you but who are you?" Shirley asked, getting up.
"The name's Lanre but you can call me the Bleeding Tattoo..."
