Chapter 23: Face Full of ScarsThe time since their abduction was uncertain. Temporal hazes to and from consciousness prevented Yewki, Wick and Seff from figuring out the distance they had travelled, as well as the exact passage of days. Itchy bags over their heads soaked them in sweat as nervous breaths filled the sacks with uncomfortable heat. Occasional whacks and boots to the face and kidneys ensured the captives remained silent and unmoving for the whole journey, apart from the odd burst of rage by either Yewki or Wick. The trip was beyond uncomfortable, but eventually came to a relieving end, only for new questions and worries to engulf them. The sudden smell of sea air was a troublesome sense, though they couldn't imagine Yewnin dragging them hundreds of miles for the sake of drownin
