Avery POV “Why are you here, anyway?” I asked, my tone sharp, as I shot Aidan a glare. He stood there, unbothered by my irritation, his casual air only worsened my annoyance. “I came to drop this,” he replied, thrusting a paper bag toward me like it was some grand gift. I grimaced, leaning back in my chair as I folded my arms, I didn't even have to sniff the air to know that it was food judging from it's packaging. “I already told you there’s food here.” He tilted his head, the smirk playing on his lips both infuriating and smug. “I know there’s food, Avery, but let’s be honest..you’re not going to eat it.” “What? Who said that? Of course I am going to eat it,” I scoffed, narrowing my eyes at him. “You heard me right,” he continued, setting the bag on my desk with a sense of finality
