53. Red Flag

1075 Words

Avery’s POV “Are you sure about this? We can still turn around now, Avery,” Aidan’s deep voice rumbled beside me, low and knowing, like he was testing me. There was something about the way he said it, it was as if he was giving me a freaking chance to consider my actions.. I couldn't help but roll my eyes as there was nothing to think about. Aidan is crazy and a psychopath and a cunny strategist. He's morally grey and is definitely not an empath, it's as if he's a dark void that doesn't care about the effects of his actions or who gets hurt in the process. He cares about the results just the results. He's the definition of a standing RED flag. I clenched my fists in my lap, resisting the urge to glare at him. “I’m a hundred percent sure, Aidan. Now, keep driving before I drive you mad.”
