Mason awoke to find Skylar crying on the sofa, "What's wrong?"
Skylar looked over at him, smiling, "Nothing is wrong. I was thinking of how blessed we are. I know you were surprised by Rodney and the twins, but they have been such great company to have around. AnnaMarie has the same light in her eyes that I hold for you. Mom is sad because she doesn't have a mate right now, but I see how happy my dad is now that he has found his fated mate. The three of us spent some time together while he was doing his therapy. She told him that she still loved him and missed him. She wished that things could have been different. And he said he still loved her too. They shared a hug, and she said that she was happy he had Sarah. Her mate was still out there somewhere."
