The next few days are a blur. Skylar and Mason spend time in the pack library researching the history of the elemental wolves and any information connected to the prophecy. They keep coming up empty-handed.
"I don't understand with all of these resources; we are not able to find anything that goes back to our origin. There are tons of prophecy, but none that are connected to me. I feel like we are wasting time with this research. We need to be training," Skylar is exhausted, and disappointment seeps through as she speaks.
Mason walks over to her and wraps his arms around her waist. "Sweetheart, we will find the answers we need when we need them."
Skylar turns around to face him, "James, I love you. I just feel like we are going in circles."
