Chapter 42 After a futile day of investigations into the tourists of Nager, Mark was exhausted, and the day wasn’t over. The clouds on the horizon pushed the sun beneath the earth. The sun protested spewing forth a few streaks of purple and orange. Mark’s muscles protested too, but little good it did them. Mark swallowed the last two Tylenol he carried in his jean’s pocket, downed them with a beer and watched Paul drive his mother out of her house and into town. The two women in Mark’s life were driving him crazy. They simply didn’t want to follow directions. They second-guessed everything he and Paul ordered them to do.
