Chapter Twenty-Three EDWIN STARED DOWN at another contract, this one for a daycare center west of Savannah. The owner, a charismatic woman in her twenties, had already signed the contract and issued them a check. All he needed to do was put his signature on it and pass it off to Andrea to get the surveys and permits started. Luckily, they didn’t hire the man Andrea wanted for the bullpen. She finally admitted to only picking him because she was pissed at Edwin at the time and wanted to make some random point that now didn’t even make sense. Instead, they sat down and went over the other applicants, picking a lady named Beth Crowley who would be interviewed tomorrow. Hopefully, she would be the one handling permits and contracts soon, which would free Andrea up for the things she was best
