Where are we going” Hercules asked me.

“I am going back to section A’s classroom to see Cherry. Go find the others and find a way to escape or hide”

“Got it be careful” he answered.

“What if the demon will possess one of us?” I asked between my pants.

He shoke his head, “ He won’t as long as we have no wounds. I remembered that Rony has a wound his hand before he was possessed, Bea has one too because she had an accident a week ago and lastly Vince, he bleeded right?”

I nodded. Good thing he was clever and analyzed those things. There was nothing to fear then I just need to keep myself from getting hurt.

“Careful” I ran my way to our school building. We cannot hold the demon for so long so I need to find Cherry. I heard her mention the old book so she must have gone back to Section A’s classroom. I ignored the rain and ran as fast as I could. I ignored Maria’s body and ran upstairs. It’s a good thing I got a phone from Rudy or I would have run in the dark. As I expected there was a dim light in the classroom. I jumped over Rony’s body and entered the room almost out of breath. I could hear my own heartbeats. Cherry was there holding a bat in her hand but she was relieved to see it was me.

“Did you find something?” I asked.

“No, there is no undo for the summoning” she went over the pages of the book. I looked together with her in the book for something that might help. She went to the page of the summoning and it was a lowly heart-eater demon.

“I was trying to find something we could use in the witchcraft parts but I still found nothing and I heard footsteps so I was interrupted” she turned the pages with shaking hands. She stopped in one of the pages. The title was “TIME REVERSE”.

“We can use that”

“Yes but it also says here that the one who performs the ritual will be the only one who remember what happened during those time before the time reverse. And it says that “the soul will die before the body and will stay between living and redemption. When the body dies the soul will also perish and shall disappear forever”, Okay whatever, should we do it or not?” She looked at me. I did not know what to say. I did not even understand what that means but I was sure there will be consequences.

“Whatever, Let’s do this” She said and adjusted her flashlight to have a better look in the weird paragraph written in alphabets but I could not understand what it means. Before she starts reading we heard yells downstairs.

“Do it faster!” I exclaimed.

“Fine” She focused on the page once again when the glass windows shattered and some fragments struck Cherry’s back. Some slashed my arms and cheeks. She cried in pain and went down on her knees still holding in the book tightly. I could hear cries and footsteps coming upstairs. I was worried because we can get possessed at any time.

“Kenny, Take it you should do it” she handed me the book. I snatched it as fast as I can.

I was shivering and was terrified but I ignored those and started reading the words aloud while on my knees. I could hear the sky angrily roared and whistling of the wind that flew my long wet hair. The laughter, the cries, the footsteps and Cherry enduring the pain in her back I ignored them all and successfully said those lifesaving unknown words. Just a moment after the last word everything went black.

The next thing I knew was I am looking down on my sketchbook inside the noisy classroom. The noise fade and I looked up to see the boys rushing inside as the teacher followed them. I looked around and everything was normal. Rony, Carl, Bea, Maria, Recca, Rudy and Vince were alive and kicking doing their own business. I did realized my eyes started welling.

“Kenny, Are you Okay” Cherry asked me.

“Yes, I am I just caught dust in my eyes” I smiled at her. She was smart but crazy over Supernatural Show and Anime. On the second thought I wondered if I just had a dream or it really happened but it was too detailed to be just a dream. I can only prove it through looking for the book. If it exists that was not just a mere nightmare but actually real.

“Class, since we have surprise visitors that need accommodation I would like you to organize our library for this hour. The librarian will guide you so please cooperate. You are no longer kids so I expect you to behave. You may now proceed to the library .” With that she left. The boys groaned and complained. Things flows just like what happened in my dream.

I went to library and looked for the old book right away. Minutes past but I could not find which made me think it was a mere nightmare. I laughed to myself, did I actually thought that sort of thing can really happen? I guess I watched too much paranormal movies it took over my mind.

“Hey! Kenny did you hear the rumor? There are vengeful spirits roaming in the old school building and they like studious people with glasses so you better pray before passing by there at night” Cherry whispered in my ear.

“But I heard they like short people more” I whispered to her. She looked irritated because she was really short. I walked to the hidden part of the library and saw Recca reading the old book with Maria. My heart raced as I snatched it from her. They raised their eyebrows to my action.

“There is announcement from the president” I smiled at them. Maria was about to talk when we hear Rony getting our attention so they left the area. I breathed deeply and turn the pages of the book. I could not believe it was really there, the summoning and time reverse witchcraft.

I hid the book inside my blouse and went straight to the garbage area in the school. Secretly I burned the book to ash. I watched it as it was consumed by the fire but the terrifying memories I have will never fade away not until I die. However, It was worth it right? Nobody died and no one but me suffered. I just have to live with the haunting nightmare.

I thought that was the end of it until I find myself being able to see ghosts and spirits. So it was the consequence of doing the TIME REVERSE. I thought I can fully adjust as time passed but the fear was inevitable every time I see ghosts.

PRESENT

I arrived at home. My lovely son and caring husband meet me at the garage smiling. My stress was washed out and turned to happiness. I am lucky to find a good and understanding husband. He does not think I am crazy even when I said I can see the unseen.

“Thank God you are home. We were worried about you” he said and kissed my forehead. I carried my son and went inside the house.

A man in black was standing beside the road watching a happy family entering their house. He chuckled and turned around. A car passes by which lightened the man's face. BLACK EYES.
