Chapter 10: Vincent Rides
There was something wrong. Vincent pulled out the binoculars again. The lights were going on in the factory. Not just in the half they’d expected, but one by one, in the entire factory. The homing beacon had shorted out somehow, a few minutes ago. Had Nikoloz been captured? Vincent tried vainly to see through the tiny windows set high in the building, more for ventilation than anything else. There was no way to know what was going on in there, but if the mission had gone as planned, they’d not be turning on all the lights. Possibly, they’d discovered Kolya and were searching for his partner.
