Wilder watched the screen anxiously as the Scythian ships approached. No one knew why they were there or what they planned on doing, and they certainly weren’t going to tell. As well as the Immani’s guess that they knew about the a-grav machine and wanted it for themselves—or wanted to prevent anyone else from having it—Wilder wondered if they only wanted to destroy the Opportunity.
