The stranger hung up the phone, and watched the pair a little longer. They ran back and forth, unaware they were being watched. Suddenly, the female stopped and sniffed the air. Her gaze swung in his direction. The stranger froze. He decided to move, but it was too late. She had spotted him, and she was coming. As James and I ran through the meadow, I kept getting a feeling that we weren't alone. I paused for a moment to catch my breath, and that's when I caught the scent. Evil.
