Chapter Twenty-Four:
After Kim and Nathan's nearly-kiss, Kim remained very distant and closed off from him, although she had insisted he stay with her instead of in a hotel. It was a week in and Nathan was still sleeping on her couch every night. The pair had become too comfortable with each other, or so Kim thought. They would share breakfast, she would arrive home from work to dinner with him and they were sit up and watch TV until one, usually Kim, became too tired to keep their eyes open. They lived in harmony together but still Kim remained adamant that they did not share a bed or any close contact.
