As soon as he released me, I took the opportunity to run as fast as I could back in the forest. I knew that if I gave him just one bite out of my sharp teeth, he would've died. But I can't do that because I was in my human form. And that only works in my werewolf form. I can't turn back into a wolf until the next two moons which are basically 48 hours in human time.
When I reached deep into the forest, I started to climb a tree. I finally reached the top of the tree and slipped on a slug. I held on to a branch with both of my hands while my feet were dangling in the air above the ground. I started to scream when my fingers were slipping off the branch one by one. I couldn't hold on any longer and I started falling. I fell into someone's arms. I heard him ask "Are you alright? Good thing I came here just in time." I looked up and saw that it was one of the vampire guys.
I quickly jumped out of his arms and pushed him. "I didn't need your help."
