Aria sat ensconced in her bed with stacks of boxes all around her. Theo was carefully packing books and carrying them downstairs to be loaded into the waiting vehicle. He really had meant he would handle the heavy lifting and refused all offers of help until Coda pointed out he was being unnecessarily stubborn. Packing the more fragile possessions was left to her, Lyra and their mother. She first thought it would take only a day, but two days later they were still in the thick of it. Just when did she accumulate so much stuff? Even after rejecting some things as unnecessary, she was still left with box after box.
