Dinner turned out to be a much quieter affair than Aria guessed given how many kids were around the table. She wasn’t surprised the Prescott sisters did most of the talking, concerned with the baby and wedding planning. Alexis and Aria found themselves equally targeted with questions neither Caden nor Theo cared to answer.
Caden’s standard answer was, whatever Lex wants, while Theo answered the same for Aria or I don’t know. It was no small frustration for Alexis and Aria, who then had to supply some sort of answer. However, neither had given much thought to the next step themselves. They were enjoying their lives and budding relationships. There was no reason to rush into hurriedly planned weddings.
