Three weeks after Nina had the baby Amber and I paid her a visit in the weekend. Nina wanted the company, she said though she loved Delilah she needed to spend some time with people who could form sentences. Dad came over as much as he could, but I could understand why Nina more or less demanded of me to come over already.
CEO or not, that was no excuse to stay away. Nina got me there so I made time this weekend. Amber was fine with it. She wanted to see the baby again too. Delilah would probably be asleep most of the time but we could still admire her.
I actually couldn’t wait to see her discover the world, Sleeping Delilah was cute, but surely it would be a lot more interesting when she started to be more active.
“She looks like a burrito.”
Nina smiled at me, “She does, doesn’t she?”
