Well since Kevin, would be dropping me off at his boss house for the interview, I didn't want to be over dressed.
So I pulled my over curly black hair in a messy bun, wore a distressed jeans, tank top and my puma slides, no makeup and I walked out my room.
Kevin came out of his room and gave me a head to toe glance before saying, "you don't always make a good first impression".
"Hey what's wrong with what I'm wearing, I'm going to babysit a baby, not catch hearts". I said before rolling my eyes.
" I'm not saying what you're wearing is bad, all I'm saying is put in a little more effort ." he said picking up his car keys, his briefcase and coat before walking out the door.
I sighed picking up my purse, keys and my coat then locked the door.
The car ride to his, boss house was quiet and long only the car stereo and one of my favorite migos song was breaking the silence.
I stared rapping along with cardi B, making him laugh....

He laughed even harder....
"You do know you're right about that second Line right??" he said finally breaking the silence. I shot him a glare.
But he's right I've never been the girl guys liked. All through high school only one guy asked me out, I was excited as hell only to find out he made a bet with his buddies.
Of course, Kevin found out and he gave the guy a black eye and gained himself detention...
And. I'm not gonna go into my love life in college.
So you see, Kevin is the older brother I never had.
As if reading my thoughts " you do know I was joking right??" he asked me.
"Yeah, I know." I mumbled
He took a right turn and we arrived at what I would call the biggest gate I had ever seen.
Just wondering what's behind the gate.
A huge guy in a security guard uniform approached us and said " sir you're on private property!! " Kevin brought out his card and showed the guard.
The guard walked away into the building.
I turned around to Kevin and said " shouldn't we go before he arrives with an RPG??!" I asked making him laugh really hard
Just as he was about to answer the guard arrived and opened the gates.
Kevin drove in, I let out a long and slow whistle..
"This is the biggest house I've ever seen" I said out loud
From the overlarge swimming pool, to the, ten car garage door, the outdoor patio with flat screen TV a fire place to couches in it, a maid and guard quarters, the over sized water fountain in the middle of it and the gigantic house right in front of me.
My breath got caught in my throat when I got out of the car and saw that the house overlooked the whole city.
The view was breath taking.
"Woah mama!!!" was all I could say.
"Well let's go in" . Kevin said stepping out of the car.
There was a fleet of stairs leading up to the house. And my hips were killing me from how much they were.
Walking in, my mouth hung open at the sight. It seems like I'm in
Buckingham Palace !!!. OK maybe exaggerating a little bit.
But the two way staircase that leads up. Gave me the whole might be royals idea. The whole walls hung with pieces of paintings, sculptures hung and stood about.

I'm just hoping the whole house ain't like this...
Just about then a redhead beautiful woman in probably her sixties emerged from one of the doors. With a beautiful smile on her face, she wore confidence like a dress her redhead bulled in a neat bun at the nape of her neck, she wore a maids dress.
She walked up to me and Kevin and said. "Sorry to have kept you both waiting"
“Oh it's okay”, I replied
"My name is Tori Williams , I'm twenty four years old". I said before putting my hand out for a hand shake.
"And this is my best friend Kevin. she shook Kevin's and said, Mr Harper it's been a while"
They know each other??
Note to self: ASK KEVIN LATER
Kevin just smiled.
She shook my hand and said " I'm Lilly Holgate, Chief maid of the Sprouse estates. Nice to meet you ".
"You're here for the job? She asked. " Yes I am". she took a good look at me from the tip of my head, to my toes.
I'm getting freaked out!!
Kevin muttering a curse made her look up and asked "is there a problem?" "yeah, I'm late. He turned to me and said, think you gonna be OK by yourself??"
I put up a reassuring smile and said, "yeah sure I'll be good. He pulled me into a tight hug, and whispered into my ear, text me if you need anything"
"I'll will". I said to him
He rushed out to his car and drove away.
Turning my attention to the woman next to me I smiled.
"Well can you handle a baby??" she asked with a smile on her face.
"Yes I can I said". with confidence
"You're hired!! " She said with a smile
Note to self: SHE SMILES ALOT.
"Really!! ,that was the interview?" I asked surprised
"You got the job you can start today". She said once more.
Oh my God!!! I got a job.
Something doesn't add up but since I'm hired. Who cares??
