Running Away

The Old man Oliver Wyatt, started moving towards Shin . He was gazing upon Shin with that evil smile on his face.

Shin felt a little chill down his spine.

Orion Necter, the master of guild 'Clover' asked with utmost respect filled in his words " Lord Oliver...What brought you here today?"

Upon hearing Orion's question, Oliver looked at him for a moment, switched to a serious face and said " I heard there is a person claiming to be a Clipper appeared here in Hawkwar...so I just was passing by to check if he was the real deal or not "

Just then, everyone reacted with a shocking, yet confused face.

Drake Velmond, the guild master of Dragon Kin said "With all respect... please explain your statement sir".

Oliver continued " After the great hero Dustan Dorvel had fallen, there were many incidents reported, at random places in Azgal, some people claiming to be a Clipper....a replacement for the fallen hero. All of them were eventually found fake. So normally I have my doubts on this one too"

He again looked at Shin with that evil smile.

Just then Cruzo, the master of guild 'Havoc' said " But my Lord...this time it is different...the other Clippers have confirmed the arrival of the new hero...and look at that picture on his hands...it is same as that on master Dustan"

Oliver replied " Yes...it is true that other clippers can sense the arrival of a new one...but still, is this guy the original?...what if the real one is already here but somewhere else ??"

After hearing Oliver's words, everyone looked at Shin with eyes filled with doubt. Some in crowd even stared accusing him fake.

Oliver continued " More to that...when I got here, I couldn't feel any presence from him. Normally every Clippers emit immense amount of presence showing the extend of their unlimited magical power, but this guy... not even have the presence of an average human with no magical ability. And when he put his hand on the truth crystal nothing happened. So altogether...it means... ". That evil smile again.

Hugo asked " Then what about the picture on his hand ?!"

Hearing Hugo, Oliver walked towards Shin. Reaching near him, Oliver raised Shin's tattooed hand with his right hand and placed his left hand over the  tattoo. Suddenly to everyone's astonishment the tattoo disappeared.

Oliver with a laugh let go of Shin's hands and said " Hahaha... just as I expected...this one is fake "

The eyes of doubt towards Shin, turned into eyes of anger, in an instant. Everyone around had the expression of been betrayed.

Shin understood the situation, but he didn't knew how to respond.

He tried telling something "I..."

But was interfered by Oliver, a gaze from him that felt like piercing through the whole body. He fell down on his knees. He felt unable to move.

"Hahaha... this kid can't even stand the glare of my eyes...and calls himself a clipper." Oliver shouted and laughed out loud.

The crowd started getting violent. The same townspeople who were cheering and praising for him yesterday, is angry and cursing him today.

" How dare you fake and belittle the name of the great clippers"

" Shame on you kiddo "

" We were so much happy for having a new hero, but you betrayed us."

" Why are you still here ...get out of our town and don't come back...jerk."

People were yelling at Shin in anger.

Shin is still on his knees, not knowing what to do. Seeing the people's reaction, he remembered the atmosphere of his classroom, where everyone around him used to make fun of him and said bad things about him.

Shin thought "How did this happen?...Why did I end up in this situation?...I never told anyone that I am a great hero or anything to start with...I never asked anyone to look upto me, worship me...Then why...why am I in this situation?". His eyes filled with tears.

Oliver with that same crooked smile on his face leaned down to Shin and whispered to him in his ears " Listen you little shrimp...if I were you, I would have ran away from here as soon as possible".

Then Oliver stood straight, turned his back and kept walking with a laugh " Hahaha...people these days go too far low, to earn reputation and money...so sad...".

Each of the guild masters started leaving as well.

Hugo said looking at Shin before leaving " Hey brat, get up and run away. I am leaving you alive only because you are a kid."

Then suddenly Cruzo came forward, lifted Shin up, grabbing on the collar of his shirt and said " Listen punk... if I ever see you around and catch doing this kind of stuffs...I will crush this puny head of yours, with my bare hands".

Shin was very terrified by the look of the ferocious beastman. Cruzo threw Shin down and walked away.

"What a waste of time " Drake murmured.

"I feel so bad to bowing down to this imposter" Gordon said as he was leaving.

The elves gave Shin a scary stare down and left without saying anything.

But Ryugen he was standing there looking at the completely broken Shin. He felt poor for him.

Drake called out to him " Master Ryugen, you coming...?

Ryugen closed the box of 'truth crystal' in his hand and walked back to his chariot.

After the guild masters left, the crowd became more triggered. They threw whatever stuffs they get in their hand at Shin and was shouting to get out from their town.

With a terrified face, Shin got up from the ground, started running with all his strength. The enraged towns people chased after him. Shin kept on running. People were still throwing things at him. He reached the entrance to Hawkwar town from Augue forest, the same forest he came from. He continued running into the forest. The towns people stopped at the entrance and was shouting

"Never dare come near Hawkwar ever again...ass hole"

"Yeah get lost...fake"

Shin was still running. Tears rolled down his cheek as he ran.

Some time later, realizing no one is following him, exhausted and scared shin stopped. He felt traumatized remembering what just happened. He sat down on the ground and cried. He thought " Why ...Why this happened to me?...what wrong did I do?"

Suddenly hearing some strange noise, Shin looked around and asked himself "Oh no...where am I?...What is this place?"

Shin thought for a moment " That's right...this is the same forest I spawned into this world...that means there will be monsters here like that crazy goblin who tried to kill me...I can't stay here, I should keep moving "

Shin wiped the tears on his face and started walking cautiously, keeping an eye out as he know there is danger lurking in the shadows. He was scared , but ain't given up hope on living.
