Chapter 21: Challenge
After the kids went to bed, and a long uncomfortable silence, Mrs. Velice finally appeared. She seemed tired, and Gigi couldn't recall if she had seen Mrs. Velice without bags under her eyes that entire week she had been babysitting her kids. But also she couldn't imagine how hard it must be to take care of two infants completely on your own. Mrs. Velice or Kayla was a woman in her thirties but looked like she was at least in her fifties. Not because she wasn't pretty enough, she was a beautiful woman with sparkling brown eyes and an amazing physical appearance, it was because of how stressed she seemed.
