Rachel opened her eyes moments later. Her eyes were still weak, and she momentarily opened them. Slowly adjusting them to the light, the sun was up,
She sat up from the bed and looked around the doctorate and furnished Luxurious room. The bedclothes were pure silk and white cotton fabrics. She was mesmerized by the beautiful scents of the room. She inhaled softly with a smile on his face,
Rachel appreciates every little thing that catches her fancy, and she responds to them positively. She has not been opportune to experience this kind of luxury for as long as she can remember.
“How did I get here” she said to herself.
Whose room is this? It's very big and beautiful. She found out she was still in her gown from last night's occasion,
She checked the time and jumped out of bed, she slid her foot on the flip-flops on the floor near the bedside and went into the bedroom to take her shower. While she was there,
Jeremy walked in and couldn't find her on the bed. He heard the shower running and figured she might be in there,
He helped carry her from the garden last night and took her to his room.
He was hiding away from people congratulating him on a marriage he didn't want to be in.
He left the living room for the garden for some quiet. It was his favorite spot in the mansion where he found Rachel from a distance inhaling the sweet fragrance of the roses.
He folded his arms around his chest, wondering what came over her. He had not seen anyone admire nature like Rachel was at that moment, and how happy she was doing it.
He watched her for a few more minutes. Could she be faking all this? He thought
“Maybe she was,” he said to himself.
As he was about to leave, he felt something wasn't right with Rachel. As her countenance changed, he saw her struggling to stay on her feet. He then ran over to hold her, and suddenly she fell into his arms.
He picked her up not knowing what to do. He couldn't go through the front door as the press was still there. He didn't want more scandal to his name,
so he carried her through the back door and headed upstairs to his room. He checked her temperature, which was warm to normal at that time, but couldn't understand why she fell sick all of a sudden,
He pulled his phone from his pocket and called his friend Ryan, who was a professional medical doctor. He rushed to his room,
Jeremy opened the door as he heard the knock,
“What happened Jeremy”? Ryan asked.
I don't know, bro, I found her in the garden. She was about to pass out, and I grabbed her and brought her here. Is she going to be OK?” Jeremy asked.
Ryan checked her pupils by lifting her eyelids. He also checked her heart rate.
“Is she going to be OK, Ryan talk to me?” Jeremy asked again, At this time so tensed,
“She is fine, calm down. She doesn't seem to be in any danger, but someone has to watch her tonight,” Ryan calmed him down.
“Watch her? I am supposed to be meeting Lily in 30 minutes, bro what am I going to do?
Everyone has already left, including your mom. By the way, the press is downstairs,
You can't leave her alone, she might get worse.
Fine, I will call Lily to cancel. I just got married and she's already being a burden. Jeremy said while casting an angry look at Rachel lying on his bed.
The men shook hands while Ryan left, leaving Jeremy with Rachel.
He had no choice but to stay with her all through the night while checking on her at intervals. He would feel her hands and watch her sleep for a while, he felt pity for her current state.
Jeremy sat on the bed waiting for Rachel to come out of the shower. He needed to be sure she was OK before going to work.
“Could it be that this whole fake marriage is affecting her life as well as it's affecting mine,” Jeremy thought.
“Why was she in a hurry to marry me if it would affect her like this, or could she be faking this as well?” he questioned himself.
Rachel tied a white towel around her chest after she turned off the shower, she picked up a clean towel and dried the excess water on her hair as she stepped out of the bathroom,
“What are you doing here?”
She screamed out with shock in her face as she saw Jeremy sitting on the bed, looking directly at her, she felt so shy to be in his presence like that, her body was half covered, with parts of her body exposed, her legs were long and attractive, her boobs were half covered. She felt like they were trying to break out of the towel.
Jeremy stared at her from her legs up to her boobs. She was very beautiful and attractive. He was lost in her alluring body.
He felt his body catching some urge from stirring at her beautiful body, he waved it off immediately, cleared his throat, and said,
“This is my room, you are the intruder here.”
“Is this the thanks I got for helping you out last night?”

Now get dressed, or are you trying to seduce me or what?
I have a woman, you can't take her place, not now. Not ever", Jeremy replied.
Rachel stood there motionless, not knowing what to think she could remember she was in the garden last night but how she got to the room was a surprise to her. It started coming back to her. She remembered feeling sick in the garden,

Jeremy was silent, he stood up, went to his dressing room, took his wristwatch, and said “See you at the office, and don't be late.”
Jeremy walked out of the room, leaving Rachel with an embarrassed expression on her face,
She didn't know what to do or what to think,
“He took care of me last night,” she said while taking a seat on the bed. She found herself smiling a little,
While thinking maybe he was not that bad, could it be that he cared about me? Anyway. He came on, he just told you he has a woman. She tried to distract her thoughts.
“Why did I have those flashes again? Why do I keep seeing that little girl? Who is she and where could she come from?”
“Oh, my head hurts again.”
Rachel felt a little headache, so she took a glass of water to calm herself down before getting dressed to head out to work.
She was stopped by a greeting from one of the maids,
Ma your breakfast is ready,
“What?” she asked.
Your breakfast ma, Sarah replied
Rachel was not used to someone else making breakfast for her, so she took a seat in the dining room and had a delicious scrambled egg and sandwich with coffee,
She ate a good portion of the meal. She checked the time. Oh! I am so late. Thanks for the breakfast, Sarah. It was delicious, but I have to run now.
