Chapter 11 JACK FINGERED THE leather purse in his pocket as he strove to walk casually down the street. It was filled with coin from the payments he’d collected the night before. Usually, he would high-tail it down to Whitstable and deliver it all to Slimmers, but today he needed a good chunk of it to make the next move in his plan.
