CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO Bait and Tsunami stood on the ceiling of the upturned minisub, facing the windshield. Even with the flashlight feature of his suit-up watch activated, Bait couldn’t see much beyond the dark, shadowy waters on the other side. He had no idea if a gigantic sea monster was waiting to eat them or if the path to freedom was clear. But even if Godzilla himself were lying with his mouth open before the minisub, Bait would have been willing to go out there. More than anything, he wanted to save Switch, and the only way to do that was to find and defeat the Collector. He was willing to brave anything to do that.
