STEPHEN WALKED INTO the Hall where they all gathered to eat and searched for the two Alphas that had called on him.
He saw the two huge men and took a breath as fear quivered in his belly. Unfortunately, despite now being a Beta in the pack, he still found the Alphas intimidating, but he did his best not to let them see it.
He stepped closer and they both turned to him.
“Thanks for coming, Stephen.” Grayson said, giving him a welcome smile.
Where was the rest of the council?
“No problem. Can I help you guys at all?” He flipped his head to get his hair out of his eyes and leaned all his weight on one leg.
