I was annoyed that I did not know of Lux's whereabouts. That little minx wasn't at her office nor at her home. I appointed cambions to survey the area around her work and home, yet they had seen nothing. I was starting to become sick of her disappearing antics.

It wasn't until days turned to nights that I became worried. I scouted her local haunt, Occult, but no one had seen her in days as well. The incubus in me wanted to lock her inside a cage at my home so she can never leave. She was the most fickle succubi I've ever met. It reminded me of the one who I had years ago... I had trouble remembering...

"Jesse."

"Jesse."

I raised my head and stared at Blair. "Huh?"

"Were you listening?" Blair huffed. Blair and I were at a supernatural bar having a drink. Blair was speaking of something, but I couldn't pay attention, not when I didn't know where Lux was.

"No, I'm sorry. What's wrong?"

"Head Bloodtrei is becoming more suspicious of Lux lately. He explained to me how she's always been on his radar, not because of the thing with Dom, but because of what she is. Her mother was human. He thinks the Demon Consul experimented with her and designed her as a weapon to kill incubi," Blair replied, taking a sip from his drink.

I almost spit out my drink. "That's absurd. Why would the Demon Consul want to kill us? We have not a given reason yet."

Blair chuckled. "You think? Bloodtrei is losing his mind."

"Did you get a main succubus?" I asked, knowing that Blair had many succubi claimed, yet Bloodtrei wanted to give us the most powerful ones that we could trust.

"Yes. Her name Vera. She's an energetic one, I'll give you that. Very energetic," Blair's aura broadened, letting out s*x energy.

"Whoa, chill. I get it, she's kinky." I chuckled.

"Did you get one?" Blair asked, surveying the girls in the bar.

"Ah, no. I managed to avoid that."

"How? Bloodtrei clearly stated that we all now must have one to be appointed."

I shrugged. I couldn't claim another. I simply wouldn't. "Bloodtrei let me off the hook for now."

"Ah, that's lucky, I suppose." Blair narrowed his eyes. "There's another incubus in here." He motioned to the dance floor.

I snapped my eyes up to the dancefloor. I noticed a succubus and incubus on the dance floor looking like they were about to f**k right there and then. His hands were all over her. She was smiling and rubbing against him. There was no s*x magic around their auras. It was something else. Love?

That was dangerous. Incubi and succubi were not permitted to fall in love. Not at all. If they were to, the succubi would be killed. The Incubi would be locked up until he got over her. Our ways were dark, but no one dared challenge them. Hence why I got worried about Lux so easily, she defied me way too much for it to be safe. How she wasn't killed all these years was beyond me.

I got out of my seat and focused on the two. Something smelled off about the incubi. I sought his scent. I smelled the succubi, but there was another scent that smells familiar, yet threw me off.

The smell of Lux. Lux's scent was all over him. "Blair, grab the girl, I need to question the young incubus. He smells of Lux." They looked familiar.

"That's weird. I know who he is. That's Jamie." Blair replied, "Lux's'--"

I was already in the crowd making my way towards him. I shoved past people, my eyes locked on him. Blair circled around closing in on the succubus.

My hand gripped Jamie's shoulder as Lux's scent enveloped me. Jamie whirled around, eyes wide. "Storm?"

The succubus gasped as she looked at Blair and me. "Darling, maybe you needed to tone down your PDA. You're lucky we're not the type to report you two, or else you'll be dead," Blair snickered, "Come with me, darling."

Jamie stepped in front of her. "No please. We were just relaxing."

"Don't worry, she'll be at the bar with me. Storm here just wants to talk to you."

I grabbed Jamie's arm. "I don't have time for this bullshit. If you don't come with me now, I'll f**k her in front of you then kill her."

That got him to listen. He followed out to the crowd and down a long hallway that leads to the bathroom. I pinned him by the neck against the wall.

"Why the f**k you smell like Lux!?" I snarled, my anger rising.

Jamie's eyes grew wide. "Whoa! She's my claimed. I have her as my claim. She and Tessa over there."

I was dumbfounded. This weak incubus had two succubi as his claimed? Head Bloodtrei would not allow this. Unless he truly believed Lux had no power. My anger peaked again. "Where the f**k is she?"

"I should be asking you that. I haven't seen her." Jamie spat. "Now let me go, you have no reason to hold me down like this."

"I could get you and your Tessa in trouble. I can tell you're in love with her. I could have her killed so you better not be lying to me."

"I'm not," he grit his teeth.

"You're going to help me find her." I let him go.

He rubbed this throat. "You know, if I didn't know any better, I would think you're in love with Lux. Why are you so concerned? I'm not even this concerned. She runs off all the time."

I lifted a brow. "She's under suspicion of killing some incubi. I'm supposed to be shadowing her."

Jamie laughed. "That seems like you f****d up for losing her. That's not my problem."

"It will be your problem when Tessa is dead."

Jamie tensed and seemed to think about his next course of action. "Fine."

"Good, you're coming with me. You can track her, right?"

Jamie shook his head. "Only when she wants to be tracked."

I rubbed my beard. "You're f*****g useless. I should kill you right here. You're her master."

"Well, I don't know if you met Lux, but she has her own way of doing things."

I leaned in towards his ear. "I'll take Tessa right now."

Jamie growled. "Fine."

I briskly walked off to where Blair was with Tessa. She looked relieved as she saw Jamie in one piece. Jamie the same. I was confused by their relationship and how they weren't caught by anyone besides us. Especially how Lux was also claimed by him. 

I had many questions. I'm sure they would surely be answered soon enough.

"We're going to the roof, let's go." I gripped Tessa's arm, yanking her off the stool. Jamie lunged for me, but Blair stepped in my way.

"Whoa there, mate. Don't worry she'll be fine if you just listen to us."

We flew up the roof and Jamie immediately started tracking Lux. He closed his eyes and set out his s*x energy to search for her. Tessa was still in my hold as I started intently at him.

Jamie sighed. "I can't track her."

Blair tsked. "Don't say that."

I grew angry, tightening my hold on Tessa. My hand hovered over her throat. "Jamie," I warned. My aura grew, taking over Tessa.

Her breathing was shallow and I felt her falling under my spell. She leaned into me more, her knees becoming weak.

Jamie glared at me. "Stop."

"I'll stop when you find Lux."

"I'll suggest you find her mate, or else your little minx here will be sucking on his c**k," Blair explained, drinking from his flask.

I stared at Tessa's eyes. "Get on your knees now, unbuckle my belt."

Tessa stared at Jamie, her eyes wide and scared. "Jamie," she whispered.

Jamie scowled. "I'm trying! Please just wait."

"Now," I commanded Tessa. I was probably putting too much s*x energy on her, risking her to be under my compulsion. However, I simply didn't care.

She eased down to her knees and her trembling fingers reached up to my belt buckle. I don't know why I was doing this. I was angry, angry that I couldn't control where Lux was or that she was nowhere to be found. Perhaps I was angry that Jamie was her master. This little twerp, couldn't even protect the girl he loved. It disgusted me. I needed to put my anger somewhere. Somewhere that didn't involve me killing.

I gripped Tessa's head and shoved her face into my crotch. Maybe that would give Jamie an incentive.

Jamie was now shaking with anger. "I don't understand why you need to find her! She's my succubus, not yours!"

Blair was getting a kick out of this. "Give it a rest Jamie boy."

A few moments later, Jamie sighed with relief. "Let Tessa go. I found Lux."

I let Tessa go and sauntered to Jamie. "where is she?"

"She's at the docks. Not looking too good," Jamie frowned. "She's in distress. I have to help her."

"No go home. I'll take care of it."

Jamie walked towards Tessa. "No it's my job to bring her to me, She is not your succubus."

 I shifted into my incu-form in front of Jamie and Blair. "You better stay with Tessa, might not want to piss me off, bud."

"f**k you Storm!"
