Waiting for something was hard. Especially when it felt like nothing was going to come anymore. It was painful to watch the hours went on and expect something that you knew will never appear. I paced back and forth the room, hoping that any second, Colin would show up, but he never did. I felt the exhaustion, stayed up because I was starting to feel more anxious but none… Nothing happened.
And I wanted to hate myself so bad.
I wanted to change everything from the beginning. If I had been less ambitious I would have never make this mistake. But I felt so cruelly guilty of what I did with Leo and what happened after that night. I went back to our place expecting Colin to be there but he was still missing.
