Eleonora and Vanessa called out to the knights outside the room a dozen minutes after Dawn's death. "Can we begin preparing for the Mourning?" "Would you like us to notify His Majesty?" "Please" "HA!" With that brief exchange, the female knights saluted and carried Dawn's body out of the room. They would be preparing Dawn's body for the Mourning, a type of funeral in which only those close to the deceased are present, and during this time, they would burn the coffin where the body is while allowing it to float in the 'River of Mourning' until it sunk to the very bottom. The River of Mourning is also referred to as the River of Death.
