Now, Alice is on her path in avenging for those hurting her, the man who broke her heart. At the same time meeting allies vampires and wolf foes and above all, she will find new love along the way...

_____ CHAPTER 1 "BETRAYAL" _______

In the middle of a massive empty dead forest, a woman around her late twenties was dragged forcefully. Her body was tied tightly with a rope making her having difficulty in breathing. Beside her was an old well that looked abandoned and unused for many years. There were vines surrounding it and creeping from every direction.

"What is this all about Alden?! Explain yourself!"

Her heart had started beating raggedy, eyes become watery and her heart just crushed into pieces. She knew exactly what was happening, yet she still hoped that the guy who was smiling wickedly in front of her was just pulling a prank.

"What do you think?"

Alden took out his gun and pointed at her undaunted.

"To think, this day has finally come! I can finally get what I had been wanting! I can finally get rich without lifting my hand! HAHAHA!" the man's face was filled with happiness.

"Alden!" the woman yelled beneath her unstable breathing,

"How could you! I gave you everything! I trusted you. How could you do this to me?!"

The two were in a relationship for four years, undoubtedly, she had trusted him the most. She thought he was different, that he's not after her wealth. To think, everything, including his effort and love was just a lie to lure her!

At this moment, she had regretted giving her time, love and trust to this man.

"Blame yourself Alice! It's your fault for being deceived easily! HAHAHA!" Alden said, and his eyes shrunk.

Still, Alice wanted to beat this man or avenge herself. Alice was full of hatred against him now, but all she could do was either glare at him or bite her lips. Either way, it could not help her to save her life.

"Now," Alden placed himself beside her to lift her head up by pulling her hair.

"Any last words? just say something" He ordered.

Alice blankly stared at the jerk in front of her. She had wanted to escape but how? It was just the two of them in the area, it's impossible for her to be saved by other people also. Nevertheless, she still won't allow him to win till the very end! Even if she dies, Alice will certainly not allow a jerk like him to kill her easily!

So, using her last energy, Alice used her forehead to clash against his, pushing him away from her a bit. Alice took the chance to look at him with disgust for the last time before falling off in the well.

She did not know if the well had water or not, but she knew it was the only way for her to get away from him.

Alden managed to compose himself immediately but was too late to continue his plan. Alice had already jumped!

Alden's lips had curved, he thought Alice was definitely a fool. She might have escaped from him but the empty deep well will surely kill her.

"Shaaakkk rakk!" an echo of the sounds of Alden heard after 30 seconds. At this time he found out that Alice really fell to the bottom of the well.

Unbeknownst to Alden. While falling, Alice had already accepted her fate. At least, she did not die by his hands. And if ever she would be able to survive, she will surely make him pay a thousand times! If ever she would be given a chance, she would surely let those people who teamed up with Alden's suffer by her very own hands!

But before Alice's body landed on the ground, something happened to her. Just that, her body was secretly transported into a flying animal, a big bird that called Eagle.

The fallen Alice who had now become a bird suddenly had renewed strength. Her personality came out as she didn't intend to. She flew in circles in the crowded well, until she noticed the light from above. So she spread her wide wings and fluttered upwards.

Alden was surprised, for a sudden bird came out of the well. In his mind, the bird must have been disturbed by Alice falling under that well.

Alden didn't bring a flashlight, so he couldn't reach the bottom of the well to confirm the situation using the flashlight on his cell phone. He wasn't sure what happened to Alice. Even so, he has been waiting for an hour but he doesn't hear a voice for help coming from Alice.

Another 20 minutes had passed. When there are still no voices. He has consumed three sticks of cigarettes. He felt very cold in the place because the day was coming soon, followed by his stomach boiling with hunger and thirst, so he left that place and never came back, considering that Alice is already dead.

From the highest of the tree branches, Alice in the form of Eagle, who is broken-hearted, just watched Alden for the whole time until he left.

There is nothing more painful than knowing that you are being cheated on, even killed by the person you trusted almost by all of your life.

Two feet hit the ground with the sounds of wailing cry.
