Ava’s Pov

I walk past the guards blocking the house all looking at me horrified at my bloody state. My family argue with Abel about being locked in the house while I enter the room Dominic holding my side. I can’t believe this is my family, the people who were meant to protect me. I hear my sister Crystal snicker at my appearance saying something along the line of I look like I finally got what I deserved. I froze hold my stomach and look at Abel.

“She is going to pay for that” Letting the Coven know this wont go unpunished. I keep my hand on my stomach as I feel Dominic do the same carrying me up the stairs to my room. He immediately lay me in the bath scrubbing me clean. Lightly cleaning in between my legs and back to not cause me anymore pain. He looks at me love in his eyes as he kisses my fore head and stands grabbing a towel. I look at him happily but hurt. I climb out the bath quickly and Dominic dries me off kissing my mark that got cut up. I look behind me and see Dominic cut his lip and proceed to kiss my wounds healing them.

“I love you so much Dom.” I say as he kisses my lips putting his blood in my mouth allowing me to feed on him as we usually do. His blood heals me from the inside. I lightly kiss his mark on his shoulder and bite into it drinking from him as he releases a moan from the pleasure it brings. Once I’m done he kisses my mouth wiping away the blood. We walk into the room and get new clothes on. It is early still in the morning only 11 a.m. I toss on a red cropped tank top and a pair of black shorts and black heels. I place my hair into a braid over my shoulder showing my mark. Dominic comes behind me wrapping his hands around my neck and rests his head on top of mine.

“Are you sure you want to do this now? You should rest for a little.” Concern clear in his voice. I turn kiss him lightly and smile up at him. “I have to do this. They cant go unpunished for setting up a attack on me and this coven. If I allow them to leave others will learn of this and we will be seen as weak. I will protect this coven with my life. They will keep trying now that I’m pregnant. they don’t know my mate is you. they think it’s some lowly wolf that fled here as well. That’s why they though they could get away with this.” I explain as he nods understanding my want to protect everyone. It is my job to protect this coven as it’s queen and protecting the future of it is a must. I go to leave the room when I notice Dominic hasn’t covered his mark either. He is wearing a loose black tank-top and grey sweatpants and black sneckers.

“Send up Alpha Black and his beta. I want them all here for this.” I feel Dominic shake his head trying to figure out my plan. We made our way slowly down the hall and downstairs. When we go there we see everyone watching two men drag in Alpha Black and his beta Roman. I stand in front of everyone with Dominic and Abel on both sides of me several guards are here and a few of the high ranked women and some mothers with their children are in the house as I called for a meeting. Everyone chattering worried knowing what has happened to me now. I raise my hand and silence them all. Not a sound comes through as I stand before them. I step forward in front of the crowd and before my former family.

“As all of this coven has heard by now, this morning while on my run I was r***d and assaulted. I do not wish to dwell on this but this deed can not go unpunished. I stand before you not weak, scared, or broken. I fight for this coven and will do all I can to protect you all.” I say watching my new family look at me proud and strong. I feel Abel and Dominic eyeing the Alpha’s.

“Now let me get this straight Red Claw and Treetop. You came to this coven to make good on a treaty and see who I had mated. So if you must know I am the queen of this coven. My mate is the grand elder, King, Dominic.” All eyes shift to him in horror now knowing what they just did will cost them a lot. Dominic watches behind me arms crossed over his chest anger in his eyes. I walk closer to my family. “Now Crystal you said something when I came in covered in blood this morning what was it?” I face her not showing emotion. My hands behind my back watching her fight her anger.

“I said you deserved what you got, You are a wolf who turned her back on her kind. Yo.....” before she could finish her sentence i slap her across her face knocking her to the ground as she spits blood and covers her mouth. I bend down hearing her mate growl Dominic steps forward showing his dominance. I look at her dead in the eye still showing nothing and wait for her to speak again. “You think they really want you? You are a runt wolf that is a slave to your own!” She yelled her anger taking over. I grab her hair holding it wrapped around my hand yanking her face close to mine before I fling her head into the marble floors seeing blood seep out her head staining her silver hair. standing up as she cowers on the floor. I dust myself off and look to my brother and father.

“Now explain to me why you planned this? I m not dumb to believe you had no knowledge this was going to happen as you brought him. Did you think my mate would leave me thinking I slept with my rejected mate?” my brother staring daggers at my mate growling like he wanted to attack. I turn to Dominic as he fights with his anger. I walk over to him as he watches them closely pulling me to him. My sister fully crying on the ground my brother goes to attack Dominic not giving him a chance I knock Dominic down and take the force of the attack, getting my face clawed and arms. I bit his neck ripping his flesh off spitting it to the ground as I get up kicking his ribs with so much force you hear the bones break.

“I do not wish to make this a blood bath but I will if you all think I will allow harm to my mate or any of my coven. I am not the weak wolf you believe me to be.” I use my alpha tone demanding attention. Abel helping Dominic up as Dominic looks at me worried I will push to far. Then it dawned on me they are pushing me to make me tired to strike fully. I back up to Abel and watch my brother get up growling.

“Abel they are trying to make me tired. They are trying to menipulate this. I have a plan watch my father and beta. They will be last to strike thinking they are the lowest on my vision.” I link seeing him stare at them holding Dominic back.

“Now let us try this again. Why attack me!” I say to my brother and Alpha Black, neither answer me. Dominic steps behind me causing them both to growl fighting for dominance. That’s when it hit me. “I see so I think I figured this out. You both knew this coven protects me. So wanting me back as a slave you wanted to make me look weak and fight with them for not saving me. You thought I would run to save myself.” They both growl louder at me. I walk over to the beta figuring out they think I’m only after them two. I grab him by his arm and kick his leg from under him making him drop to his knees breaking his arm I yank his head back placing my knee into his spine. Seeing my sister watch as her mate is about to be killed, screaming for me to let him go.

“What does it matter if I kill him? I mean you guys came to kill me right?” My eyes dead and bending his back more hearing bones c***k. “Any last words?” I warn. “f**k you.” he replies just like that I break his back and rip his head from his neck tossing it by my sister. blood covering me and the floor I get up and walk to my brother looking at him in the eyes. He is on the verge of attacking. Not allowing him the chance I take my hand and plunge it into his chest as everyone gasps in shock at my brutality. Him gasping for air as his heart slows. "Sorry it had to end this way brother but you will not harm me again." I say before yanking his heart out his chest dropping it at his feet as he falls dead to the ground.

"Now Crystal, father ,and Alpha black entertain me for a moment. which one of you came up with this idea to assault me knowing I am pregnant. I noticed you all watching me this whole time, so I know you knew." The coven growing angry that they wished to kill me and the kings heirs. Dominic raises his hand silencing them again. Abel comes next to me. Grabbing my sister in anger He looks her dead in the eyes. Me and Dominic watch seeing what has happened.

"No, I Abel Castel reject you as my mate." He shouts at her pissed. He waits for her to accept or decline his rejection. "Please don't" She pleads knowing if he rejects her her wolf will leaving having no mate they would rather die then live without their other half. " I do not care for your wishes. You will have to accept this rejection or live with the pain of knowing I will never be yours." He says dropping her and walking away. He watches me for me to help him. I look over to dominic who nods and allows me to use my powers we have been figuring out. "This may hurt" I say as Dominic and two guards stand in front of us. I look at him placing my hand on his heart slowing it down like I would with my weather magic. Causing him to yell and my sister to scream in agony. I look into his eyes as he drops to the ground sitting on his knees. Before I finish I hear a commotion behind me hearing my sister trying to attack knowing I'm breaking her link manually. Not able to stop or else I kill Abel I release my hand and use my wind to blow my breath into his mouth with some of my blood. Everyone seeing me using magic a rarity in our world. They're aren't many witches around to help anymore. I know this must look horrific but my blood leaking from my mouth and into his as his eyes turn black. After a minute I stop and watched as he gasped for air. I look at Dominic with a smirk as he watches me.

"You b***h, you just couldn't leave him for me. He would grow to love me I have nothing now! My wolf is going to run." she screams at me. I get up ignoring her and watch Alpha black and my father who both haven't spoke this whole time. Dominic watches me trying to figure out what we will do.

"Alpha Black I hope you enjoyed what you did to me. Did it make you feel like a man having to force yourself onto someone? Now Dominic what do you wish to do with him? He has committed crimes against the coven and you personally. Seeing as you are king you can find a suitable punishment because death is to good for him."I say smiling at my mate as he pretends to think.

" Seeing how the crimes you have committed are all punishable by death but my dear mate does not wish for you to die easily you will be placed in the cells to be handled by me personally, " He raises his hand waving the guards to grab him. Before they get to him he lunges nearly attacking Dominic as I kick his side with all my might hearing him whine getting back up and charging at me. He dashes toward me and I drop to the ground leaving him to tumble onto the dead bodies. I quickly turn using the bodies to my advantage I shift my weight and knee the back of his head knocking him out slamming his head onto the floor. The guards grab him walking him to the cells. My father not reacting to anything watches me as cold as stone. I'm covered in blood from fighting. He smirks at me thinking before he finally speaks.

"Ava, for a wolf who rejected her blood and her pack you have done well for yourself. I had no knowledge of the plans to attack you or the coven. I was upset you joined a vampire coven after you ran but when I realized you had both vampires watching over you I decided it was best for you. When I heard you had a new mate I talked your brother to try and accept you back into the pack. I was trying to make up for all the pain I had caused your whole life. I spoke to your mother and she lost it. I killed her for her ideas of killing you and everyone who helped you escape. " My dad looking at me upset. As if expecting me to accept his story.

"Look our pack is on a route to it's own demise now. I can't explain why we did to you what we did but I know your the last wolf now in our bloodline who can rule the pack. I have stepped down for many reasons and will not rule anymore." He looks at me lost as if he has no options now.

"So you mean to tell me you want me to become Alpha to a pack the abused me for almost 20 years. I have to decline I am responsible for this coven. Your pack will not accept me or my mate and kind. I will not put my children at risk for something that will not be of worth." I shrug and go to Dominic as he pulls my hair up into a bun. He looks at me confused but understanding my reason. My coven watches as I proved to them all what happens to traitors or threats. I am a force that will kill without a thought to protect my loved ones. My father staring distraught at me as his bloodline is no longer in charge. I look Abel who nods before I have to ask him.

"Father what if I can place someone as Alpha in my stead? With my support and the backing of the Covens they will have enough to make a claim as I am last in line for the role. I can train them and make my presence known making sure they will not be challenged. And if they do not produce any heirs I will train one of my hybrids to rule as Alpha." I question before Dominic can refuse this plan.

"I suppose if they had enough support the pack will have to accept or they will have a challenge seeing how they will be trained under mean s they would be able to win the challenge I don't see a problem." He seems to not know who I wish to place. I turn to another hybrid in the coven and walked over to him, extending my hand out to him to introduce him.

"Father this is Mattias Degress, he is a former beta of the blood moon pack. I wish to place him as Alpha. He is trained since he is a beta I can train him in the full Alpha law. " The boy shocked at me even knowing his name. He looks to Dominic who thinks. Everyone smiling at my plan. "This would be the best solution. Matt can use his former pack for reference and has friends in the pack communities as well that will support his claim. The pack will have a strong Alpha." I turn and look at the boy the same age as me. His eyes excited and determined.

"Fine, I will take the boy with me announce that our bloodline has been killed beside you who has place a beta and hybrid as the new Alpha. Most will want you dead but seeing how he is under you here and must be loyal will whip them into shape." He says as he begins to grab his bags and leaves. He leaves Crystal for us to figure out where to place her. We quickly send her to live with humans no one would believe her she'll be a outcast.
